We probably agree

[edit]

We probably agree on far, far more things than not. We just happen to disagree about Noveske. Your remark about me having some kind of personal issue with them, however, was just uncalled for. Niteshift36 (talk) 03:26, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"i guess trolls have to eat, too"

[edit]

You've probably violated your topic ban in recent months by extensive involvement with the Todd J. Rathner article and AFD, and editing the Friends of NRA. Using edit summaries to attack others over minor content disagreements, well, that's not exactly new behavior either. Don't do it again, please. Felsic2 (talk) 19:11, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

[edit]

Are you familiar with Lightbreathers editing style and habits? The reason I ask is that I just posted this on Felsic2's talk page. Thomas.W talk 22:12, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kel-Tec P-32

[edit]

Can you explain this edit? [1] I started a talk page discussion about it and pinged you but you haven't repsonded. None of the sources you added actually support the statements made. What happened? Felsic2 (talk) 21:09, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the fix. However I'm still confused, because Google won't let me see page 112 of this source: Eimer, Bruce N. (7 June 2012). Armed - The Essential Guide to Concealed Carry. Iola, Wisconsin: Krause Publications. p. 111-113. ISBN 1-4402-3002-1.. Does it talk about Husqvarna, Intratec, and Grendel? Google says those aren't mentioned in the book. Felsic2 (talk) 21:00, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Let's discuss this at Talk:Kel-Tec P-32# New sources. That's what talk pages are for. Felsic2 (talk) 20:39, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Personal attack

Just saw this comment of yours. [2] That's an extremely serious charge. Provide evidence in a suitable venue or retract the accusation, immediately. Felsic2 (talk) 21:13, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Short-barreled rifle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Silencer. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Armalite AR-15 page

[edit]

In order to move things forward I have created the new Armalite AR-15 page using information taken from the M16 rifle page. It's not perfect but it gets the ball moving. Please review it and make necessary copy edits.--RAF910 (talk) 22:38, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the quick copy edits to the new Colt AR-15 page. As for the other AR-15 pattern rifles page...I recommend that you create it it as quickly as possible.--RAF910 (talk) 23:24, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like we will be stepping on each other toes for a little while on the Colt AR-15 page. I apologize for any inconvenience ahead of time.--RAF910 (talk) 23:38, 19 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I filed an ANI against TeeTylerToe based on his overall edit history and his edits to the Colt AR-15 page that you just reverted. I have no doubt that you will hear about it soon. If you would like to comment please do so.--RAF910 (talk) 23:34, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bad source

[edit]

If you took the time to actually read the source you're using as a citation, you'd see immediately why it's totally inappropriate.[3][4] Be more careful. Felsic2 (talk) 00:33, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]

If you add a citation to an existing sentence, and the source doesn't support the entire sentence, please rewrite the sentence, or split it, or otherwise indicate what material the source is supporting. Otherwise it's misleading. For example: [5][6] Felsic2 (talk) 20:56, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Where does it say anything about being "inspired"? Felsic2 (talk) 01:44, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure that this isn't a reliable source?[7] It's used in a helluva lot of articles. Felsic2 (talk) 20:44, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There's a difference between "not comfortable" and "unreliable". If you'd like to find another source that says the same thing, then go ahead. Or explain why it isn't a reliable source. But just deleting it, and the material sourced to it, simply because you don't like it for an unknown reason isn't good enough. Felsic2 (talk) 21:56, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, I don't make the rules. This back and forth isn't getting us anywhere. I'll go ahead and file a request at WP:RSN. Please make your case there, for or against. Felsic2 (talk) 22:01, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard#Modern Firearms - say your piece there. Felsic2 (talk) 22:21, 24 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mike, I don't know what Newseek or US News, etc, sources you're talking about. But whatever they are, can you add them to the article along with the text you deleted? Felsic2 (talk) 15:00, 25 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
