April 2017
Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Jon Schmidt, from its old location at User:Pianoguysfan/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 15:08, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

Dear Mz7,
Thanks! On Jon Schmidt's bio here on the Piano Guys website, it says he has won awards during his solo career, but I can't find any articles citing the awards he has won. What do you recommend me to do?

- Hi Pianoguysfan! Ultimately, reliable third-party sources form the backbone of a Wikipedia article, and without them it is difficult not only to show notability, but also to find verifiable encyclopedic information to add. I wonder if it'd be okay to create a new section at The Piano Guys detailing who each member is and their accomplishments. I'd imagine that may work out better. Mz7 (talk) 04:40, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
Hi Mz7! Thanks, I'll try that out. Pianoguysfantalktome 08:49, 2 May 2017 (UTC)
Hi Mz7! I've tried out what you suggested and it's kind of finished. It's in my sandbox. Could you tell me if it's ok or if I should get rid of some irrelevant stuff? Thanks a lot anyway for your time. Pianoguysfantalktome 08:12, 7 May 2017 (UTC)
- Looks good! I would shift a few of the inline citations so that all of the information is clearly referenced to a reliable source, especially since much of your proposed additions deal with information about living people. At first glance, it looks like the sections for Al van der Beek and Paul Anderson are poorly sourced, when instead you pulled most of the content from [1] and [2]. Duplicate those citations throughout the article so that all of the information is covered. Mz7 (talk) 18:36, 7 May 2017 (UTC)
Thanks Mz7! I'll do that tomorrow and then I'll move it to The Piano Guys page Pianoguysfantalktome 20:58, 7 May 2017 (UTC)

ArbCom 2017 election voter message
Hello, Pianoguysfan. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
