Hi. Thank you for your help- I don't understand why my article was rejected. I've referenced the Slovenian national press agency (STA), a daily newspaper Delo (neutral source), I've cited yn article poublishe by a national museum for architecture and design and slovene natioanl academy of science and art (the higest national institute). I've writen an article on Slovene architect that I do not know... so I don't understand. Please help. Mikac5 (talk) 14:42, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi,
I declined (not 'rejected') this draft for two reasons:
  1. Referencing: most of the contents are not referenced; there are ten paragraphs, of which six are entirely unsupported. As the subject died very recently, they still come under our rules governing articles on living people (see WP:BLP), which require every material statement, anything potentially contentious, and all private personal and family details to be clearly supported with inline citations to reliable published sources. To give you an idea, I would expect to see probably 20+ citations in an article this size; yours has four.
  2. Notability: for notability per WP:GNG, we need to see significant coverage of the subject, in multiple secondary sources that are reliable and entirely independent of the subject. Sources 1 and 3 are primary, so they don't count. Source 4 is borderline, as it isn't very extensive. Source 2 is solid, but it alone isn't enough, as we normally require 3+ sources, and even together with the borderline 4, these aren't enough; you would need to add at least one more source that squarely meets the GNG standard.
