A tag has been placed on Ancient Christian Magic Coptic Texts, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. == I do not know whether it is appropriate to add the following data about Exorcism here. But it does reveal the conclusions of an Offical Catholic Exorcist I was directed to by Archbishop John Dearden of Detroit, Michigan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Dearden == Not the conclusions of self proclaimed demonologists like Ed and Lorraine Warren. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ed_and_Lorraine_Warren whose adventures are popularized in movies and books and keep superstition and the occult alive. They were very involved in the sensationalism of the Amityville Horror house. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Amityville_Horror
Just recently I heard my local priest wildly claim,"If I sprinkle this salt and water on a possessed person they will burst into FLAME!" The kind Offical Catholic Exorcist at St. Bonaventure Monastery, the home to many of the Detroit Capuchin friars, I spent some time with many years ago NEVER MENTIONED THAT ONE! He talked about superstition and delusions. A Capuchin friar at the St. Bonaventure Monastery exclaimed,"Too many movies!" This is also the judgment reached in the next directed source.

Sadducees Removal by Indyguy for grammatical error 14 Sep 2018
[edit]The Sadducees were a sect or group of Jews that was active in the the main centers of Hellenistic Judaism that were Alexandria (Egypt) and Antioch (now Southern Turkey), the two main Greek urban settlements of the Middle East and North Africa area, both founded at the end of the 4th century BCE in the wake of the conquests of Alexander the Great. In Alexandria, Eygpt, Shimon ben Shetach successfully completed the removal of the Sadducees (a sect which denied the Oral Torah and the authority of the Sages) who had dominated the Sanhedrin (Supreme Court), replacing them with his the Oral Torah replacing them with his Torah-loyal Pharisaic disciples, on the 28th of Tevet of the year 3680 from creation (81 BCE)

[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Asherah. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. "Help me, St. Anne!" Luther screamed. "I will become a monk!" Deleted from Martin Luther Talk Page
[edit]An introduction for explanation: Supposedly in 1505 Martin Luther's life took a dramatic turn. As the 21-year-old Luther fought his way through a severe thunderstorm on the road to Erfurt, a bolt of lightning struck the ground near him. "Help me, St. Anne!" Luther screamed. "I will become a monk!" The scrupulous Luther fulfilled his vow: he gave away all his possessions and entered the monastic life.
Martin's father saw this as a waste of his son's education. In accordance with his father's wishes, in 1501, at the age of 17, he entered the University of Erfurtin law school that year but dropped out almost immediately, believing that law represented uncertainty. He later described this as a beerhouse and whorehouse.
The following is the deleted material: St. Anne is mother of Mary and grandmother of Jesus. She is only sited in the Gospel of James. Also in the Gospel of James is the story of Salome placing her hand in Mary's vagina as a test of virginity. Her hand burst into flame. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gospel_of_James
The Church of St. Anne de Beaupré in Quebec, in Canada has long been privileged to possess a rare relic of the Saint. It is a fragment of the wrist bone of St. Anne, about two or three inches in length, with the skin and flesh still adhering to the bone and showing the joint near the thumb. Danger and the unexpected
[edit]It is interesting within nature parents of creatures often care for and protect their off spring. Parent birds protect even their unhatched chicks. There is a survival instinct and an acceptance of danger and death. Still there is animal infanticide. See:Infanticide (zoology). We live in a high-risk environment. We have to accept the fact of uncertainty and learn to live with it. First, among humans birth defects are the leading cause of infant deaths, accounting for 20% of all infant deaths. I met a young woman who could not cope with doing ultrasound of yet to be born infants. Too many were deformed. She was employed doing ultrasound of male testicles and found peace. Then check out: Pandemics and Plagues and Peoples by William H. McNeill. There have been five great extinctions. Still there is life on Earth. (See: Extinction event, Effects and recovery) Generally parents and adults care more about the future, health, safety of children than they do about themselves. Humans create various philosophies and religions that supply a comfortable acceptance of death. Yet, they will attempt to save lives, a complete contradiction of dying and going to a "better place"; the "other world". I prefer the ancient term, Cloud cuckoo land. The Self. Wikipedia is not a forum. My improper behavior...again
[edit]There seems to be a growing number of popular admired chatterboxes that deny the freedom of will and the reality of individual conscious self. They enjoy stating these are illusions. Perhaps I am wrong but these wackadoodles do not seem to be professionals with hands on experience in the study of the critical history of human behavior involved with an unlimited number of clients or patients day after day. Perhaps too, personal creativity, talents, individual decisions, determination, personality, boundaries, compassion, loss, etc. do not exist. Yet, this seems doubtful. At least to a grunt like me. Yeah, the monkey speaks his mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=359CxEpcZd8 It seems likely that the early idea of a soul is in reality what we define today as the self. It is actually a result contained within the the body of a living creature. A yet to be explained astonishing organic process produced by the brain. It is well known that environment and injury to the brain can alter personality, awareness, behavior, etc. It is likely that death brings an end to the organic process of the self. You are terminated. Adios amigo. Dualism is a fantasy. A professor of literature not an archaeologist
[edit]Professor Richard Elliott Friedman is a professor of literature at the University of California, San Diego https://act.ucsd.edu/directory/faculty_staff?list_code=8577&blinkref=&entryparam=richard%20%20friedman He is not an archaeologist. It is doubtful he is qualified to of speak of the Biblical Exodus and archaeology. He seems to be totally unaware of the book, Exodus: The Egyptian Evidence edited by Ernest S. Freichs and Leonard H. Lesko, Eisenbrauns, 1997. I find this odd.Miistermagico (talk) 02:51, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
Dear User:Editor2020,I disagree with you archaeology is not Friedman's field. Participating in a dig does not make one an archaeologist. You are only a laborer, a helper, for a trained archaeologist. Friedman is a professor or literature. This is the reason behind Friedman's book on the documentary (fact) hypothesis. Look carefully at the Noah story in Genesis it is obvious there are TWO versions. There are TWO versions of the number of creatures taken into the ark, an obvious doublet. I highly recommend "On Genesis: A New Reading" by Bruce Vawter, Doubleday & Co, (1977), also follow the latest discoveries in ancient archaeology from critical archaeologists. I suggest William G. Dever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4wqpzfe7qc Miistermagico (talk) 12:04, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
Dear User: Editor2020, I was WRONG. Friedman is Ann and Jay Davis Professor of Jewish Studies at the University of Georgia where he teaches Hebrew, Bible and Jewish studies. He does NOT teach archaeology. How can he possibly present evidence from BOTH text and archaeology that Exodus is a HISTORICAL FACT as he claims? Archaeology is NOT his field. Beneficial: a human conclusion. John, Peter, and Book of Revelation disfavor
[edit]A miracle or "good luck" is a human conclusion reached a AFTER a beneficial, actual or supposed, event has occurred. An example is a single child surviving a catastrophic plane crash where the "miracle child" was the only survivor. Another example is the raising of Lazarus, the 7th, last and climatic, sign performed by Jesus. (This miracle ONLY appears in the Gospel of John 11:1-44 and no others). Adolph von Harnack rejected the historicity of the Gospel of John. The sisters of Lazarus, Mary and Martha, appear in both the Gospel of John and the Gospel of Luke. These two Gospels are the last to be composed. I find it very interesting that the Gospel of John is popularized as a first-hand eye witness historic account by those unfamiliar with critical Biblical scholarship and the historical evolution of Christology. The Gospel of John is grandiose from the very beginning: "And the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us." (John 1:14) Also too, in the Gospel of John the resurrection of the Son of man, Jesus, is compared with Nehushtan the bronze snake raised by Moses.(John 3:14-16) (2 Kings 18:4) and (Numbers 21: 4-9). (John 3:16) is very selectively popular, not the proceeding two verses. As stated on my user page I am not fond of brevity. So it goes. Pheme Perkins has pointed out there is not a favorite disciple in the Gospel of Mark, the earliest Gospel. If John was the last living disciple and was popularly expected to be still alive when Jesus returned (BOTH EVENTS DID NOT OCCUR) perhaps this was the reason John was called the disciple Jesus loved. Then too, John may have been the fleeing naked young man (Mark 14:51-52). The other later Gospels fail to mention this peculiar incident for some reason or another. The later Gospels (but not Mark) also fail to mention Jesus disowns his own mother and brothers who are convinced he has lost his mind. The Denial of Peter appears differently in all the Gospels. The prediction, made by Jesus during the Last Supper that Peter would deny and disown him, appears in the Gospel of Matthew 26:33–35, the Gospel of Mark 14:29–31, the Gospel of Luke 22:33–34 and the Gospel of John. 13:36–38 is most likely Vaticinium ex eventu. What ever...
Eusebius of Caesarea did not favor including the Book of Revelation in the New Testament. Eusebius also wrote he was convinced the disciples and the early Christian bishop, Papias of Hieropolis, were NOT very sharp in his Historia Ecclesiastica, the pioneering 4th-century work, giving a chronological account of the development of Early Christianity Miistermagico (talk) 00:23, 30 April 2019 (UTC)

Once upon a time with Dean Radin, Helena Blavatsky and J. Z. Knight
[edit]Dean Radin (born February 29, 1952) is a researcher and author in the field of parapsychology. He is Senior Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, in Petaluma,California, USA, on the Adjunct Faculty at Sonoma State University,on the Distinguished Consulting Faculty at Saybrook Graduate School and Research Center, and former, four-time President of the Parapsychological Association.
BIOGRAPHY: Dean Radin played the violin from the age of five, and worked as a professional classical violinist for five years. He earned an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and both a master's degree in electrical engineering and a doctorate in educational psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Dean Radin worked at AT&T Bell Labs and Verizon Communications#GTE/GTE Labs, mainly on human factors of advanced telecommunications products and services, and then held appointments at Princeton University, Edinburgh University, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, SRI International, Interval Research Corporation, and Boundary Institute. At these facilities he was engaged in basic research on exceptional human capacities, principally psi phenomena.
In 1988, 1993, 1998, and 2005 Radin was the elected President of the Parapsychological Association, an "AFFILIATE" of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He has published numerous scientific papers as well as articles and books written for a popular audience: "The Conscious Universe" (1997) and "Entangled Minds" (2006). "The Conscious Universe" (1997, HarperCollins) was awarded Amazon.com's 1998 Category Bestseller Award, the Scientific and Medical Network 1997 Book Award, and the "Anomalist"'s 1997 Book Award, and as of 2006 was in its 16th printing. It proved to be popular and has been translated into Turkish, Korean and French, with several other translations.
RESEARCH: Radin has conducted parapsychological research in several areas, drawing the personal conclusion that psychic phenomena exist. However, Radin's research has failed to capture the attention of mainstream science and the scientific community as a whole, who support Scientific modelling/ mainstream models incompatible with, and often contradictory to, Radin's conclusions. Some of this research includes:
Random number generators and world events:Events which capture the attention of many people may affect random number generators in "The Conscious Universe: The Scientific Truth of Psychic Phenomena" by Dean Radin, 1997 Other publications report analytical studies on how lunar cycles may affect psi and winning at one gambling casino. Winnings on slot machines rise 2% during a full-moon. See:Seeking psi in the casino. Radin, C.I. & Rebman, J. M. (1998), Journal of the Society for Psychical Research, 62 (850), 193-219
Precognition|Presentiment experiments:Experimental tests of presentiment effects in the autonomic and central nervous system.
Intention research: Radin's research concluded that intentionally enhanced chocolate significantly decreases stress, increases calmness and lessens fatigue in those who eat it. Radin DI, Hayssen G, Walsh J. (2007). Effects of intentionally enhanced chocolate on mood, Explore: The Journal of Science and Healing. , Volume 3, pp. 485-492 "If the Pope blessed water, everyone wants the water. But does it actually do something?" Radin asks, "The answer is yes, to a small extent." "Mind over Chocolate" by Alana B. Elias Kornfeld, TIME magazine, April 6, 2009, page 58
Remote healing: Subjects constructed clay dolls of themselves. His research showed that the subjects' blood and nerve activity increases when a "healer" 100 yd away massaged the dolls. The scientific edge, UNLV professor explores the link between mind and matter by Mary Manning, LAS VEGAS SUN, 14 Sep 1996. Radin also tested Umbanda mediums in Brazil, who attempted to send healing thoughts to American subjects at UNLV. These healing thoughts were not only sent to specific individuals but also "back in time." David Jay Brown Interviews Dean Radin
Psychokinesis: In 2000 Radin attended a spoon bending party. To his surprise the spoon he was holding started to bend. The bowl momentarily felt like putty. Using one finger and thumb he easily pinched the end of the bowl over, nearly bending the bowl to half its length. Dean had decided in advance that the only bend he might find interesting would be of the bowl of a spoon, because to do this without tools and/or leverage is beyond the capability of most people, including himself. The silver-plated soup spoon he held bent as he had previously desired. Spoon Bending Parties were first thrown by Jack Houck (1939-2013)
Kinesiology: Radin ran double-blind and triple-blind trials with 58 adults using vials of sugar and sand and a dynamometer, which measures a hand's grip strength. The results seemed to show that people's muscle strength decreased significantly w hen they held vials of sugar. See: They Laughed at Galileo Too by Chip Brown, 1996 The New York Times Company August 11, 1996, Sunday, Late Edition - Final Section 6, Page 41, Column 2, Magazine Desk
Robotics: Subjects attempt to manipulate a robotic arm to pick up an M & M. Unobserved, the robotic arm can complete the job in 25 steps. With a human's mental attention to the task, the job can be done in two steps. See: They Laughed at Galileo Too by Chip Brown, 1996 The New York Times Company August 11, 1996, Sunday, Late Edition - Final Section 6, Page 41, Column 2, Magazine Desk
Psychics: "The best psychic averages about 3 in 10, like the best baseball hitters .300," says Radin, "the rest of us bat about 1 or 2 in 10." See: The scientific edge, UNLV professor explores the link between mind and matter by Mary Manning, L AS VEGAS SUN, 14 Sep 1996. According to Edwin C. May, director of the US “Stargate” program, remote viewers in the Stargate Project were wrong 80 percent of the time and correct 20 percent of the time. Radin wrote that the probable reality of remote viewing was scientifically established by the US government's Stargate Project. See: A post on Radin's blog on 12 Jun 2006
Remote viewing and future machines: While Dean Radin was at the Conscious Research Laboratory, University of Nevada, Las Vegas he worked with remote viewer Joseph McMoneagle. Radin conceptualized a future machine that as yet did not exist. McMoneagle used his remote viewing into the future in an effort to obtain information concerning this machine to produce patentable ideas. See:"The Ultimate Time Machine: A Remote Viewer's Perception of Time and Predictions for the New Millennium" Joseph McMoneagle, Hampton Roads, Publishing Co., Inc., 1998, p.109 by Joseph McMoneagle (1998)
HISTORICAL: About the famous Indian rope trick Radin says,"There are all these classic cases of the fakirs throwing the rope in the air and the little boy climbs up to the top and disappears and all kinds of magical things happen. All the Easterners see it and will swear up and down that they saw it, whereas the Westerners see nothing. They were watching the fakir just stand there with his arms folded and the little boy standing there and the rope is on the ground and nothing happened." Radin's explanation is the fakir "melted minds." http://www.enlightenment.com/media/interviews/radin Enlightenment Interview with Dean Radin See: The Weight of Credulity
In a lecture to the New York Theosophy Society, Secret Doctrine Class, Radin stated Eastern yogis could see into the past, present and future, read another person's mind, and levitate. Radin asked his audience,"What do they know that we don't know?" Radin also has a positive interest in using remote viewing for psychic archaeology, his preferred name now being "intuitive archaeology." See: deanradin.blogspot.com, Monday 18 Jun 2007, Two Recommended Books:"Opening to the Infinite" by Stephan A Schwartz, also the author of "The Secret Vaults of Time: Psychic Archaeology and the Quest for Man's Beginnings and The Alexandria Project
Introducing: The Theosophy Society, Secret Doctrine Class and Dean Radin There are those in the scientific community who seem to take the Theosophical Society, with Helena Blavatsky and the Ascended Masters very seriously. For instance take Dean Radin's lecture: Friends of IONS & Theosophical Society (lecture), New York City, NY, November2006 http://www.deanradin.com/NewWeb/activities.html At the Theosophy Society, Secret Doctrine Class, Radin stated: Eastern yogis could see into the past, present and future, read another person's mind, and levitate. Radin asked his audience,"What do they know that we don't know?" Introducing: Ramtha School of Enlightenment and Dean Radin The following Dean Radin lecture caught my curious eye: Ramtha School of Enlightenment (lecture), Yelm, WA, July 2006 http://www.deanradin.com/NewWeb/activities.html
Introducing: Ramtha School of Enlightenment https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramtha%27s......htenment Introducing: J. Z. Knight https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J._Z._Knight Introducing: Pseudoscience https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudoscience
Radin prefers to ignore the many hoaxes and frauds that dot the landscape in the history of psi research exposed by inquiring skilled magicians and psychologists. There are indications that Radin desires to connect shoddy science with shoddy religion and the occult by having connections with J.Z. Knight. See:What the Bleep Do We Know!? Visiting Moses
[edit]Back in the 70's while doing some historical research I was invited to a local Jewish library. Material on Moses was in the fiction section. I found this very interesting since Christians stress Moses as a historical figure. This has always struck me as being a bit ODD: Moses' staff (obviously a magic wand), the 7 or 10 plagues, the parting of the red or reed sea, (My favorite OVERLOOKED version of this story is the one where the Egyptians troops pursue the Moses escapees in BOATS! See: Canaanite Myth and Hebrew Epic: Essays in the history and the religion of Israel by Frank Moore Cross, Harvard University Press, 1973), the receiving of the 10 commandments (Exodus 20:2-17), their destruction (Exodus 32:19), and REVISION usually NOT accepted (Exodus 34:1-26) and the STRANGE time line of taking 40 YEARS to cross the Sinai desert when Yahweh is GUIDING them with divine signs both day and night. They are lead to the promised land of Canaan, a land inhabited by terrible cannibal giants (Numbers 13:1-33) where Moses' The Twelve Spies are the size of INSECTS!! DUH!! 15:08, 3 May 2019 (UTC) (Numbers 13:32-33) 32 And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. 33 There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” (Numbers 13:23) When they reached the Valley of Eshkol, they cut off a branch bearing a SINGLE cluster of grapes. TWO of them carried it on a pole between them, along with some pomegranates and figs. Infers that even the grapes that grew in promised land of Canaan, the land of giants, were huge. Miistermagico (talk) 01:45, 3 May 2019 (UTC)
Do you find the detail that Moses was 120-years-old at the time of death, and was apparently in his 80s at the time of the Exodus particularly believable?
The narrative of the Exodus is clearly mythical. Whether there was a historical background to this narrative, we can only guess. Dimadick (talk) 19:54, 8 April 2019 (UTC)
Dear Dimadick, I prefer fantasy rather than myth. The Book of the Thousand Nights and a Night A.K.A. The Arabian Nights Entertainments contain a few stories that are also in the Bible. Theology is a firm foundation in both collections. It is odd this is not frequently recognized by inquiring readers as both originated as oral traditions to teach life lessons while enchanting the listener as was observed by the famous adventurer Richard F. Burton. I have always cherished a wondrous story and its effect on the human mind and heart. Miistermagico (talk) 21:43, 8 April 2019 (UTC)
Myths "explain how a society's customs, institutions and taboos were established and sanctified." They are supposed to impart lessons to their audience. Dimadick (talk) 22:17, 8 April 2019 (UTC)
Dear Dimadick, The arts power imagination, fuel creativity, and honor inspiration. Miistermagico (talk) 05:31, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
John Calvin another wackadoodle
[edit]After checking out "Calvin and the Jews" at the wikipedia John Calvin entry it is obvious he was another wackadoodle like Martin Luther. These clowns who claim the Jews do not understand their own stuff, the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament), have ROCKS IN THEIR HEADS! So it goes...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCjMSeisZ5A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Ld3PjeL7IM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2u9cTfLKWQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glhrczA1ru4 Miistermagico (talk) 15:27, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
The Curious Raising of Lazarus and No Others
[edit]The curious Raising of Lazarus (John 11:1-44) confuses me. Why ONLY Lazarus? Supposedly at the Marriage at Cana (John 2:1-11) Jesus' mother, Mary, is a widow because St. Joseph does not appear in her company. If Joseph had been a father to Jesus and died why hadn't he been brought back to life like Jesus does with Lazarus? Then there is John the Baptist, a fellow Jesus seems to admire. After John the Baptist is killed by being beheaded why doesn't Jesus raise him from the dead? Again why only Lazarus? Why is Jesus so picky? Miistermagico (talk) 15:39, 14 April 2019 (UTC)
Upper Room Suspicions and the Mythology of Today
[edit]I suspect, though I do not know, all Cenacle, or popularly known Upper Room, incidents occurring in Jerusalem are not historical but are instead fictional theological constructions established by the emerging Christian community. I base this on the absence of stories establishing the ownership of this (two level?) residence and the necessary meal preparations in the New Testament. Also Jesus' prediction of Judas' betrayal (Matthew 26:23-25) and as earlier stated the prediction, made by Jesus during the Last Supper that Peter would deny and disown him, appearing in the Gospel of Matthew 26:33–35, the Gospel of Mark 14:29–31, the Gospel of Luke 22:33–34 and the Gospel of John. 13:36–38 both are most likely Vaticinium ex eventu. The Incredulity of Thomas episode related in (John 20:24-29) though not in the other three synoptic Gospels (Thomas WIMPS OUT and NEVER does physically examine Jesus' wounds fulfilling his vow) and the Pentecost miracles, the rushing wind (the breath of Yahweh ), the cloven tongues of fire, and the ability to speak in other languages (Acts 2:1-12) are also most unlikely historical incidents. Instead they are fictional theological constructions established by the emerging Christian community. The addition of predictions, miracles, magic add wonder and mystery to stories and make them more memorable. Some say science fiction is the mythology of today. As a fan of fantasy and fiction I content these too should be added to the mythology of today. Miistermagico (talk) 12:45, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
Posts on my wall
[edit]Dear Miistermagico, While it is very friendly of you to tell me your thoughts on various matters, I would appreciate it if you would refrain from posting on my wall unless you have a specific topic you wish to discuss. And if you do, please only create new sections if you have a new topic to discuss, at the moment you have created three new sections for essentially the same thing. If you want to argue for the inclusion of the Israelites being the size of grasshoppers (which, as I've told you, is reading a metaphor as a real description), then please do it at Talk:The Exodus rather than on my page. Thank you,--Ermenrich (talk) 16:36, 4 May 2019 (UTC)
May 2019
[edit]Hello, I'm CorbieVreccan. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Witchcraft have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Mass addition of the same book as "further reading" to all these pages looks like it could be WP:CITESPAM. If it doesn't cite particular content, it's not needed. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 17:20, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
- Not In Kansas Anymore: A Curious Tale of How Magic Is Transforming America
- Dear CorbieVreccan, Perhaps I am mistaken but it is unlikely you have read the editorial reviews of this informative book by Christine Wicker from Booklist or Publishers Weekly on Amazon. It contains contemporary historical data. Whatever pleasures your fancy tickles me to death. So it goes... Miistermagico (talk) 04:27, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Witchcraft. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. I don't know if you have a personal, WP:COI connection to any of these publishers, or if you just like adding lists or collections, but Wikipedia is not a random collection of data. Stop adding books to articles unless they are needed to cite content. Just because you enjoyed the book, doesn't mean it belongs on Wikipedia. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 18:36, 10 May 2019 (UTC)
User page warning
[edit] Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your user subpage at User:Miistermagico may not meet Wikipedia's user page guideline. If you believe that your user page does not violate our guideline, please leave a note on this page. Alternatively, you may add {{Db-u1}}
to the top of the page in question and an administrator will delete it, or you can simply edit the page so that it meets Wikipedia's user page guideline. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Wikipedia is not a blog or social forum. This includes this talk page. If you are not here to build the encyclopedia, perhaps you can find a different place online to socialize and write. I also strongly suggest you familiarize yourself with Wikipedia policies. Mark Ironie (talk) 20:13, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
Block notice
[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Mark Ironie (talk) 23:36, 13 May 2019 (UTC)The reason I've blocked you is for your gross incivility toward another editor on my talk page. This is not acceptable. Describing another editor as having a pathological personality disorder is, indeed, uncivil by Wikipedia standards. Despite what you may think, all editors, admins or "grunt editor" (your phrasing), are accountable on WP. Follow the instructions above to get another admin to review my block. It will probably be an admin I don't know. If you do not learn the basic policies and guidelines of Wikipedia, you may violate them unknowingly. I hope you'll agree this is not a good outcome for anyone and certainly not for you. I would like to stress again that Wikipedia is not a social forum or your personal blog. To quote What Wikipedia is not: "Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia and, as a means to that end, an online community of individuals interested in building and using a high-quality encyclopedia in a spirit of mutual respect." A final note: Please do not extensively edit your comments on talk pages. If you have additional information/comments, add them as a new comment below. Editing comments is detrimental to clear communication. If I reply to a comment that has been significantly changed, my comment may not be applicable any more. That wastes everyone's time and muddies communication. Cheers, Mark Ironie (talk) 00:25, 14 May 2019 (UTC)
Second block for incivility
[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Mark Ironie (talk) 22:50, 15 May 2019 (UTC)It is not a good idea to come back from an incivility block to say your words weren't uncivil, then attempt to wikilawyer and gaslight me. So I've made this block for a week. You have been on Wikipedia for 14 years so please stop acting like you are an editor without experience. You've even been taken to Arbcomm for your behaviour in the past. Your user page on another account was deleted (twice) for violating Wikipedia is not a blog. Now your talk page also seems used mostly for your personal writing as well, rather than interaction with other editors. A final note: to keep this conversation intact, respond to me here on your talk page rather than mine. You can still post to your own talk page while blocked. If you feel I'm treating you unfairly, please ask to be unblocked. Really, I have no idea who will respond to the request. Cheers, Mark Ironie (talk) 00:02, 16 May 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Dear Mark Ironie, I have NOT lied to you. Why would you think I did that??? You can always go back and examine my claims. What ever... Sincerely Miistermagico (talk) 10:43, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
Since when???
[edit]Dear Mark Ironie, Since when is the offering of clarification, explanation and motive lying? Sincerely Miistermagico (talk) 13:46, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
Are you here to contribute to Wikipedia, or to continue to try to use the site as a blogging platform? If the latter, after all of this, the pages where you do this are probably going to be put up for deletion. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 21:29, 29 June 2019 (UTC)

More of the same
[edit]Using talk pages as forum, etc... See previous warnings and block for same issues. This is the only warning I'll give you. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 18:20, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
- Also copying note on alternate account here from above section titled "#Sock-puppetry":
- Since there was a year between usage, the Kazuba account: Kazuba (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) - which he eventually admitted to - was found to not be in violation at the time of the SPI report. I'm logging this in case the Kazuba account is reactivated during blocks on the Miistermagico account. Both accounts have now been used to edit many of the same articles: Editor Interaction Analyzer. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 22:40, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
