Nomis
[edit]Hi Mightymonkey2018, I've recently updated a Nomis citation you added to Shildon, with a new template I've been involved in that may be of interest. Template:NOMIS2011 hopefully makes it easier to create quality cites to Nomis Local Area Reports Search. I hope this is useful for you.TiB chat 00:29, 10 February 2018 (UTC)

A note re your book sources
[edit]Hey,
In your Stephen Grady article, the book sources simply link to WorldCat. If possible, you should see if there are scans of the books in question on Google Books or the Internet Archive, or add page numbers so that the information can be more easily verified as verification is one of the pillars of the website. If you have any questions, or want a peer review, please do not hesitate to ask. Etzedek24 (I'll talk at ya) (Check my track record) 23:45, 26 August 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Nomination of William McMullen (RCAF officer) for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article William McMullen (RCAF officer) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/William McMullen (RCAF officer) until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Lettlerhello • contribs 17:05, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
Can I ask on what grounds deletion is proposed? He is a significant figure in the area in which he died. Mightymonkey2018 (talk) 19:42, 24 November 2020 (UTC)
The article Chandos Hoskyns (British soldier) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Doesn't meet WP:SOLDIER, and I'm not seeing significant coverage in multiple secondary sources independent of the subject to meet WP:GNG. Also WP:NOTMEMORIAL.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Disambiguation link notification for September 27
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Wilfrid Woods, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Deficit. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
