Excuse Me

I had proposed about wikiproject puntland and had got three supports. I have chosen Somalian WPP as the parent project. So I was asking by the end of november 2012, will you add to the Somalia Project Banner'This article is supported by WikiProject Puntland' on Puntland related articles?'Mir Almaat Ali Almaat From Trivandrum, Kerala, India(UTC+5:30) 11:10, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

The Desert Flower

Would you be so kind to explain me the reason you've removed the information in the plot description? Severenika (talk) 18:19, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

I already did in my edit rationale (original research & already adequately synopsized). Regards, Middayexpress (talk) 18:22, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
I really don't understand. And that was the main topic of the film. Severenika (talk) 20:02, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
And it wasn't any sort of original research. I can add supporting links, if necessary.Severenika (talk) 23:17, 27 June 2012 (UTC)
The main topic of the biopic was her life, of which activism was just a part. The material was also both unsourced and largely redundant, having been already synopsized. More importantly, it did not resemble the professional plot synopses (e.g. [1]). Regards, Middayexpress (talk) 07:53, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

hello

a user claims here Talk:Wahhabi that the somali people have had historical influences by the wahabi movement is there any truth to that?? Baboon43 (talk) 07:18, 21 September 2012 (UTC)

Well, let's just say that the Somali territories have long had scholars who believed in a more fundamentalist interpretation of Islam. Examples include Sayyid Muhammad al-Dandaraawi's late 19th century movement in the far north, as well as the Al-Nahda ("Renaissance") society established in Mogadishu during the 1960s. At this diff, you added periods (full stops) to the ends of each of the bullet-list items in the notable alumni section. Like the other lists on this page and elsewhere, these are just fragments, not sentences, and should not have terminal punctuation per MOS:FULLSTOP. The numbered list of departments should probably be a bullet-list, too, unless the order or the numbers are official and have independent meaning. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 19:51, 6 October 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Sheekomaglogo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Sheekomaglogo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:27, 21 October 2012 (UTC)
