Spear to GAN

[edit]

Hi Michelangelo, as you may have noticed, I've considerably re-written and expanded Spear (Griffith novel). Once I've finished expanding the lead, I'd like to nominate it for good article status. As you remain a significant contributor to the current version, I wanted to ask if you had any objections, and if you'd like to be a co-nominee; I'm happy to do the work of responding to a reviewer, but I thought I'd offer as a courtesy. Best, Vanamonde (Talk) 03:49, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Vanamonde93: Thank you so much for your contributions to the article - you've done an excellent job! I have never been involved in the Good Article nomination process so I would like to watch this one, read along, and learn more about the process for next time. Thank you for offering though! My pleasure, and thank you. I'll respect that choice, though I think (assuming it passes) you'd be perfectly entitled to display a GA credit regardless. Best, Vanamonde (Talk) 17:48, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work on Fractured Fables! I came across it while doing New Pages Patrol. — Prodraxis {talkcontribs} (she/her) 02:41, 15 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Spear (Griffith novel)

[edit]

On 4 September 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Spear (Griffith novel), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Nicola Griffith's novella Spear examines how the Roman conquest made Britain an ethnically diverse society? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Spear (Griffith novel). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Spear (Griffith novel)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
