AN/I notice
[edit]There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Ozob (talk) 04:42, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
It appears that a person who i might add started this edit war, has "tattle tailed" if you will on me, funny.
[edit]That is dumb. Mesmerate (talk) 04:51, 22 November 2015 (UTC)

[edit]I did, infact, try to find a compromise with an editor who agreed with me, but thought adding the reference complicated the page. I forget which edit, but it's there.
It's there. Mesmerate (talk) 05:03, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
- Mesmerate, you need to go to the WP:ANI thread about this – Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Edit war at Calculus – and make your case there. Hope this helps... --IJBall (contribs • talk) 05:10, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
I can, infact, not do that. I do not have intermediate level permmision, you or another such person will have to do it.
[edit]You or other such person. Mesmerate (talk) 05:13, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
Wait, nevermind.
[edit]Nevermind, i do not have intermediate level permission, but i can still edit the sub section i think. Mesmerate (talk) 05:14, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
How to leave your signature on Talk and Noticeboard messages
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
I noticed on WP:ANI that you said you didn't know how to properly leave your signature on Talk page and Noticeboard messages, so I'm leaving you this message to help you out on that – good luck! --IJBall (contribs • talk) 22:24, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
I do not know how to close all these discussions.
[edit]I simply do not know. Mesmerate (talk) 00:20, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
- The easiest way is to hush, and say nothing. The discussions will all close themselves. Use your account just to read for a month or so. See how everything turns out. You'll be a better editor. My two cents. Willondon (talk) 00:48, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
See how what turns out? Mesmerate (talk) 15:54, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
- See how the discussions resolve themselves. You don't need to do anything. Willondon (talk) 01:04, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
Ok. Mesmerate (talk) 02:55, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Commonly used non existent words
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that the page you created was tagged as a test page under section G2 of the criteria for speedy deletion and has been or soon may be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I cannot find the button. Mesmerate (talk) 03:35, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
This was not a test, you didn't even give me any time to prove it wasn't one. I intentionally added a "Work in progress" as a page issue. Mesmerate (talk) 03:42, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
I found the button. Mesmerate (talk) 04:04, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
Commonly used non existent words
[edit]I looked at the page but I honestly can't see where this expands on the pre-existing article Commonly misspelled English words. While I suppose that we could technically say that these words do not exist in their alternate spellings, the fact still remains that the meaning for these appear to be the same as the properly spelled words since the people using the misspelling appear to be using it to signify the original word. The article "Commonly misspelled English words" also covers mispronunciation and other reasons for a word to be misspelled, so I don't really see where your article would expand on that.
There's also the issue that your article appeared to be based on your own personal research and wasn't backed up with reliable sources, however the larger issue is that your article would just be considered redundant to the one that's already in the mainspace. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 07:09, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
I figured my article would have to rely on unreliability until someone started helping me. The article was supposed to be words full of words like "scientifical" that do not represent any existent words. I will clear those problems up, they just slipped my mind. Mesmerate (talk) 15:04, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
May i have the article back so i can make the "Correct" version of it, or is that not possible, or is that not allowed? Mesmerate (talk) 15:14, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
Never mind. Mesmerate (talk) 01:56, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
How to use user talk pages
[edit]Hi. I think you have misunderstood how user talk pages work, because of the various things you've posted on your talk page that don't make any sense.
You created a bunch of sections on your talk page where you appear to be replying to something someone said somewhere. If that was on a talk page (maybe an article talk page), you need to add your reply to that same talk page. Nobody will see it on your own user talk page. In fact, people almost never create a section on their own user talk pages.
In many cases, however, a person adds to a user talk page and that talk page is not the best place to respond, so the post includes instructions for another place to respond. That was the case for two posts on your talk page: the one about the ANI notice and the one about the speedy deletion nomination. These sections were added by automated processes and no one will see a reply on your talk page. So they each tell you a different place to continue the discussion, where people were awaiting your comments.
Now, if you want to respond to this comment, go ahead and add your response below. I'll be watching the page. Bryan Henderson (giraffedata) (talk) 17:42, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
Sure i know how to respond, i made those sections a little while ago when i didn't. Mesmerate (talk) 22:43, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
Edit to Black Friday (shopping)
[edit]This edit to Black Friday (shopping) was not appropriate and I have reverted it. If you want to perform edit tests then please use the WP:sandbox not main space articles. Sarah-Jane (talk) 15:18, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
I thought it would be funny for five minutes or something, by the time you reverted it i was debating taking it down myself, but was fueled by "vandalistic tendencies". I deeply apologize and will not make any "vandalistic joke edits" again. Mesmerate (talk) 15:23, 27 November 2015 (UTC)
