License tagging for Image:10th Frame.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:10th Frame.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:05, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:19bootcamp.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:19bootcamp.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:29, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:19bootcamp.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:19bootcamp.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 11:00, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I happened to have the page on my watchlist so I fixed it. -- DatRoot 12:04, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Actionbiker rollercoaster.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Actionbiker rollercoaster.png. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 14:59, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Escape from Singe's Castle has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No sign of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. After searching for reliable sources that cover any version of this game, I came up rather dry. The article does not appear notable as a result.

Upon further inspection I realized I overlooked the collection of reviews. If you could assist me by writing the reviews into the prose of the articles - I'm trying to improve as many stub-class video game articles to start as I can - that would be really helpful. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 09:59, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Paco Portalo

[edit]

Hello Merman1974,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Paco Portalo for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
