October 2011

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Dr. Whooves (talk) 22:53, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the auto-signature button notice. I did not know how to type tildes.--Hillcrest98 (talk) 02:35, 5 October 2011 (UTC)Hillcrest98

Thanks

Sometimes accidents happen, thanks for letting me know -- I carried my changes forward, this time without removing all the other sections! Benwing (talk) 02:02, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

Thanks too

Hi,

I wanted to thank you for your third-party opinion during the usurpation process I initiated for the username Ndiver.

Unfortunately, i supposed that by notifying the usurpation on his page he received an email and logged just to answer. I'm almost sure that he will never log again in the near future (he did not answered to my message), and i reinforce me in the idea that he is usurping my username (I was registered on Wikipedia FR under the username Ndiver since 2005).

If he did not answered in the next days, could you write a comment in the part that concerns me in the Usurpation page ?

Thanks again and best regards, --Ndiverprime (talk) 13:52, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for notifying. Sorry for the interruption of the process. Hill Crest's WikiLaser (Boom.) (talk) 15:21, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

You have new message/s Hello. You have wctaiwan's talk page at wctaiwan's talk page.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kuban River, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Armavir (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Just in case, a rename into either "Coach Pantusso" or "Ernie Pantusso" is proposed. --George Ho (talk) 03:59, 5 November 2012 (UTC)

November 2012

Hello, I'm First Light. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (capitalization) that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia needs people like you and me to collaborate, so it’s one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. I removed your personal attack in the closing of that RfC. I realize that it can get frustrating on Wikipedia at times, but that was uncalled for. Please consider replacing the NPA template there with a neutral reason for the close. First Light (talk) 03:34, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

Civility Award
Thank you! You went farther with fixing this than I hoped or expected. Assuming good faith of others, even when it's difficult, could go a long ways toward solving a lot of problems on Wikipedia. Thanks, First Light (talk) 02:33, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

ANI regarding MykhayloNaumenko

Hi, Hillcrest98. MykhayloNaumenko has gone underground since the single, apologetic response filed at the ANI, so it's doubtful that s/he will return. If the user does return to disrupt articles, there are at least a handful of editors watching his/her edits. The thread has gone stale but, should they return to being disruptive, please feel free to ping me. Cheers! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 06:12, 15 May 2015 (UTC)

I had filed that ANI entry to deal with the behaviour of anti-Russian and pro-Ukrainian POV pushers in general, not just Mykhaylo (he was just the latest case). Hill Crest's WikiLaser! (BOOM!) 19:04, 15 May 2015 (UTC)

I thought you tagged it because the footnote had been deleted, but it appears you've done some research and have more info to add. So why don't you just go for it? --MopTop (talk) 15:13, 12 February 2019 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Old Irish grammar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Syncope. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
