Thank you for all of the recent copyediting on DC-related articles, especially ones I wrote. I'm not the best writer and it's nice when someone finds those mistakes. :-) APK whisper in my ear 03:44, 10 May 2021 (UTC) |

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to List of equipment of the United States Army, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it.
It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 03:44, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for catching the erroneous hyphen in the filename. I admittedly missed that in the edit and preview. Meleager91 (talk) 12:30, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
Please don't join lines
[edit]Hi Meleager91, thanks for your comprehensive copyediting. However, could you please preserve the original line breaks? Some editors, myself included, like adding a line break after each sentence. Readers won't see that, but it makes the paragraph shape easier to see for editors; in any case, it doesn't hurt. Removing these line breaks when copyediting is not an improvement; and moreover, it confuses the "view changes" algorithm and makes it impossible to easily view what has actually changed in these paragraphs. Thank you! Gawaon (talk) 21:35, 9 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hello Gawaon! Understood entirely; it was a first time encountering that structure for me, but happy to leave that alone going forward. Meleager91 (talk) 23:30, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
