@निजोमसा बर': I've had to undo your edits because they are unconstructive I'm sad to say. Please use the sandbox for such editing. Regards, —MelbourneStartalk 14:43, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Gamerafts Inc

This page should not be speedily deleted because... (your reason here) --Ayyanali2100 (talk) 10:35, 4 November 2016 (UTC)Gamerafts is the 3rd largest video game developing company it's first game will be released in 2017 and the development of the game started in 2013 and people have already shown interest in this company. And on instagram it surpassed 400 followers @gameraftsinc Ayyanali2100 (talk) 10:35, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

@Ayyanali2100: please do not create articles wherein the subject is not significant or notable. Articles must be verified by reliable sources as to determine notability. Kind regards, —MelbourneStartalk 14:43, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

link to an article removed

Hello, I added some links to an article on Kayode Oduoye, which in my view, did not entirely violate the rules, particularly when some of these links are to other wikipedia pages. Instinct71 (talk) 12:04, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

@Instinct71: Hi there, and welcome to Wikipedia.
Internal wiki-links are appropriate (provided they are viable), external links can be provided (within the section "External links") but not in the body of the article. If the item that is being externally linked is notable, an article on the matter ought to be created -- not an external link elsewhere. Please read our guideline on the matter, here. Kind regards, —MelbourneStartalk 14:43, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

EDITING

I just provided an edit summary for the content changes I made. I have been involved with A4M, and am privy to their educational programming--from which I have greatly benefited. I am certainly allowed to make edit/content changes, if I feel the information is blatantly incorrect and biased. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Renk7291 (talkcontribs) 14:49, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi @Renk7291: in this edit (as was the case with other edits you made) you removed sourced content without explaining why. Another editor has disputed the removal of such content. Please discuss your changes on the article's talk page, gain consensus for its removal. Blanking pages is not constructive, especially without the use of edit summaries. Kind regards, —MelbourneStartalk 14:54, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

Redirect

I deleted the content of the page 'When Christ and his Saints Slept' because it was simply a redirect page to Sharon Kay Penman, and 'When Christ and His Saints Slept' has a separate proper page, to which any link would direct. I trust that you will agree that any link to a book should link to the book's page (if it has one) rather than the author's. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.188.128.130 (talk) 15:14, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

@86.188.128.130: then you may simply add said article you speak of as the target of the redirect – there is no need to blank the page (and redirect). Kind regards, —MelbourneStartalk 15:17, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

Sunetra (actress)

yes i think it was mistake. please help me find my 2 page Sunetra(Actress) and also MOONMOON this page was made by me. but suddenly deleted. thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Badol1234 (talkcontribs) 14:00, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

No @Badol1234: no mistake, I'm afraid to say. The article was deleted because it was unsourced, notability could not be established and hence lacked verification. Kind regards, —MelbourneStartalk 14:09, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

just help me to restore the Article. Thats all — Preceding unsigned comment added by Badol1234 (talkcontribs) 15:19, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

@Badol1234: Hi there, I'm unable to restore the article as I don't have access to its contents (the article was deleted). You may petition an administrator to provide you a copy of the deleted article; however, as to avoid being deleted again it will need to be re-worked as to address the concerns outlined in the article's deletion discussion – namely, the addition of reliable sources to demonstrate the subject's notability. Kind regards, —MelbourneStartalk 15:29, 4 November 2016 (UTC)

Uh Recent Edits to the Mount Erin Page removed

Hi! You seemed to remove the edits I have made, I am an official IT worker at Mount Erin and updated the page. If you could reverse the changes. That would be brilliant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MESC WRITER (talkcontribs) 04:53, 5 November 2016 (UTC)

@MESC WRITER: I sure did: on Wikipedia, we take a very dim view on vandalism -- which is what your edits were, unfortunately. Please cease with such edits, otherwise you may not be updating that page for much longer. Kind regards, —MelbourneStartalk 04:55, 5 November 2016 (UTC)

George W Bush

Do you think George W Bush isn't a warlord? He invaded Iraq with no evidence of wmds and led to the killing of many civilians. He ripped the US contitiotion with the patriot act, and condoned torture . According to the definition he fits the criteria! Or is he not a warlord because he's the president of the USA? I guess what applies to the rest of the world doesn't apply to America, huh 9be7an (talk) 04:16, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

@9be7an: I won't even entertain the merits (or lack thereof) of your edit, I'll just let you know: if you continue to make disruptive edits as you did to Warlord -- you may lose your editing privileges. Kind regards, —MelbourneStartalk 04:21, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

you added back in random accusation

you reverted me and added back in kurt eichenwald blog material — Preceding unsigned comment added by KMilos (talkcontribs) 14:12, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

@KMilos: this edit seemed really unconstructive to me, because you did not adequately explain why the material that was well-sourced was removed -- saying, "deleting this kurt eichenwald blog material" is no explanation whatsoever to remove content that is verified by reliable sources such as NBC News, Washington Post etc.
Whilst I've undone my edit, in accordance with the Arbitrary remedies imposed on the article: I certainly agree such content should be added back, perhaps reworded. More than happy to discuss the matter on the article's talk page. Best, —MelbourneStartalk 14:20, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

Yes, about the change on Michael T. Flynn. Please read the comments I left in the hidden comment section.

Here you go. Whatever, let someone else do it. You're not a very good moderator though, of Wikipedia. Sorry to tell ya. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.232.239.4 (talk) 14:24, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

@63.232.239.4: He supports Trump - congratulations. Where does he say that he identifies as Republican? Hint: he doesn't. I'm not a moderator, so no offence taken. —MelbourneStartalk 14:27, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

Then as someone who doesn't live in the US, I guess you don't understand US elections very well or the hyper partisanship that is going on right now.

You should pick a new section to edit, at least. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.232.239.4 (talk) 14:30, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

At least remove him from the Democratic party. I can find some better ones, but it is what it is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.232.239.4 (talk) 14:36, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

Can I post his anti-semetic messages? http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/24/politics/michael-flynn-tweet/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.232.239.4 (talk) 14:38, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

I'm not trying to be a jerk to you, but wish you would look at all the facts. Anyway, I'm done. You can do what you want, you're the editor. But, in this case actually look at the facts. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.232.239.4 (talk) 14:41, 7 November 2016 (UTC) ping|63.232.239.4}}

@63.232.239.4: well, thanks for your interest in which country's elections I edit on Wikipedia -- but that's not really a concern of yours. Provided I'm editing per Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, I can edit whatever I want, whenever I want. I understand the United States and it's elections quite well, for what it's worth.
Now, onto your substantive messages:
You can mention his supposed partings with the Democratic Party in the section that discussed his political views - by all means, feel free to do so, provided it's verifiable. Regarding his anti-Semitic messages: because, obviously, controversial in nature it'd be best you discuss such content on the talk page of the article as to gouge others' views on the matter. At this very moment, I won't be able to participate. If you want to forgo this step and add said content in the article: please ensure it's written in a neutral manner and is well sourced. Regards, —MelbourneStartalk 14:48, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

Robert Gordon University

Hi MelbourneStar,

Thanks for the message regarding the research information on the Research section of the Robert Gordon University page.

I have been speaking with staff about the different sections on the page and I am making amendments based on their feedback, hence the large changes. I will use the comments section going forward.

Many thanks

Dan-D1903 (talk) 10:43, 8 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi @Dan-D1903:
Please be aware and familiarise yourself with Wikipedia's guidelines on conflict of interest editing -- it's a strongly discouraged practice to edit an article which you share a personal connection. Furthermore, please also read our neutral point of view policies -- whereby, all content on Wikipedia must be written in a neutral manner.
Lastly, all content you add on Wikipedia must be verified by published reliable sources—books, newspapers, etc.— as Wikipedia does not allow for original research.
I'd advise, as to avoid your edits being continuously undone for the reasons stated above, that you use the article's talk page to discuss what ought to be changed. Kind regards, —MelbourneStartalk 11:56, 8 November 2016 (UTC)

Edits

Thanks for the feedback. The edits made to the page were made to be more accurate, the page had clearly been vandalized and even the Interpol accusations didn't link to a proper page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stvincent87 (talkcontribs) 13:04, 8 November 2016 (UTC)

Lingam

Hi

I am Born in India. Lingam is believed as the God here. It is not a symbol of phallus.

So wherever there is such references that should be removed.

Thank you.

Joel Segal Page

I am Joel Segal's attorney. The content I removed at his request was inaccurate and incomplete and misleading, as well as confidential nonpublic information. The quote attributable to him was unauthorized and not endorsed by him as being published as representative of his stature in the industry. The information was posted by an unauthorized source. An inaccurate and incomplete and misleading wikipedia page is potentially severely damaging to Mr. Segal's business. It is imperative that the changes we made be completed. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.83.176.228 (talk) 15:17, 11 November 2016 (UTC)

Luca Patuelli

Hi,

You removed my edit on Luca Patuelli. I did not add a citation because I got my information directly from him. I work for him. Can you please tell me how to re-upload what I had corrected.

Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mariasimone1 (talkcontribs) 17:08, 16 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi @Mariasimone1: apologies for my belated response:
I had to undo your edit, because not only did it remove content that was verifiable and had reliable sources, but replaced with content that was mostly unreferenced. Additionally, the content that was added was not written in a neutral point of view, which leads me onto asking that you read our guidelines on conflict of interest editing -- such editing is strongly discouraged. I hope that explains to you as to why your content was removed and won't be added in at this time. Kind regards, —MelbourneStartalk 10:43, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

Hello There...

It seems there are others whom have done the same. If removing my link, please feel free to remove others.

Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Helpingtheworld4444 (talkcontribs) 14:03, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

What you do to one you must do to all. UNA-USA Greater Orlando Chapter should also be removed. why 'it' wasn't flagged I've no idea :-).

Yet if you do remove Orlando as well, please let me know so I can explain to them how they may be listed on the official UnitedNations.Org website. Our press releases already go to UNA-USA so that's great. Also, the reason I posted is that we are trying to give people an example as to what some of the other chapters are doing, we are assisting the UN as well as the UNA as they are working on having more chapters open up across the nation.

So while we already have access as NGO's and Civil Society among other options... We thought it might be good to list there as well for our region. I will contact someone direct at UN when I go there next to speak or otherwise to find out what higher profile options are for postings.

Furthermore, we mean well. I do SEO and do not need Wiki for reasons you may think I wanted to post for. Just learning my way around is all LOL. It's no big deal, really it's not :-). I understand you're trying to keep things nice neat tidy and legal but we are a legit entity under UNA-USA.

Doc

By the way, did you notice any other edits? Or was everything undone? I added a link 'to' UNA-USA chapters as well. This proved my intent was what I say it was. Have a nice day :-)

Thanks for listening :-) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Helpingtheworld4444 (talkcontribs) 14:15, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi @Helpingtheworld4444:
Just because others have gone against policy and guidelines pertaining to the addition of external links within the body of the article (please refer to WP:ELNO) -- is no excuse at all to add more external links. If the subject of the link you are adding is notable then feel free to link it to its respective Wikipedia article or cite a reliable source to demonstrate the subject's notability. But please do not link it to an external website in the body of an article. Should there be other external links present within the body of the article, feel free to remove them. Kind regards, —MelbourneStartalk 14:19, 22 November 2016 (UTC)

Not I did it

Somebody used my IP before me. It is a dynamic IP.

Anyways, I like the AfD. They came soo late... you German lived too long too well, and it made you lazy. AfD should have made a landslide victory already before the Lissabon Treaty. Now only God can help to save your people; anyways you will disappear in a century. It is so tragic... :-(
