Welcome

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. To find out how to make useful contributions, take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means, and on Notability (people) for more detail. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted. Follow the links below to learn more:

Notability of Shemul

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Shemul requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JohnCD (talk) 13:03, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Shemul, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. ——RyanLupin(talk) 13:08, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Hatashi. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. ——RyanLupin(talk) 13:10, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Baro Vatra

[edit]

Hi Mehrinwub, I notice that you keep adding back in material that I removed from the Baro Vatra article when I cleaned it up. Material that was removed is material that does not belong in Wikipedia. For example, the names of university students from the village who are not otherwise famous do not have a place in an encyclopedia entry. You can find more information on what is and is not acceptable in Wikipedia articles at WP:NOTE and WP:NOT. Continuing to re-insert this unwanted material may be seen as vandalism, and you may find your account blocked if you persist in doing this. I appreciate that you have taken the time to start this article on Baro Vatra, but please remember that Wikipedia is collaborative, and that other editors will be making changes to the article frequently in order to improve its contents. Improving an article's contents sometimes includes removing material. -- Tyler (talk) 22:39, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, such as the edit you made to Baro Vatra. If your vandalism continues, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Tyler (talk) 23:23, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Hatashe for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. Benea (talk) 23:56, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
