Adminship

[edit]

I'm not working myself toward adminship for I do not want to be an admin due to all the responsibilities and stuff. Second, admins don't promote users to admins, beareaucrats do. If you want to see what other users are looking for adminship candidates, see guide to request for adminship. Hope that helps!--PrestonH 19:25, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Night of the Long Knives

[edit]

Thanks for the barnstar! I am glad you found my comments helpful. I will take a look at the article again, but I need to find some time when I can focus on it without interuptions. I will try to do so tonight or tomorrow.--BirgitteSB 15:57, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Mcattell, I'll be busy with schoolwork all day, but when I get home at night from class around 10:30 pm I'll see what I can do.--PericlesofAthens 14:57, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi; just got back from holiday, hence the delay in replying. Will get back to you tomorrow. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 22:27, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Napoleon

[edit]

Why don't you remove it? If the guy starts to revert war, then I'll have to submit a report concerning his behaviour. It is incontrovertible that encyclopaedia articles are not supposed to contain unreadable quotations of this length. --Ghirla-трёп- 23:04, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I's suggest applying to WP:RSN: an excerpt from a 19th-century treatise entitled "The Divinity of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" does not readily square up with my idea of reliable sources for a modern biographical article. --Ghirla-трёп- 23:20, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Untitlefdgfd.JPG. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Untitlesadfasdfadsfd.JPG. The copy called Image:Untitlesadfasdfadsfd.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 00:59, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reagan wedding cake?

[edit]

Dude, that's a pic of Gerald Ford and his brood. What's the dealio, partmer? - Arcayne (cast a spell) 22:42, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't so much of not giving it a chance, as it is a matter of not fixing something that isn't really broken. A color picture beats the pants off a black and white photo every time and twice on Sunday. Considering the prevalence of b&w photos in the article, it's entirely approrpiate to keep it the same. However, you might post the pics in the Discussion section, and let others weigh in before replacing photos. Sound like a good alternative? - Arcayne (cast a spell) 22:51, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
