Speedy deletion nomination of Telerik

[edit]

Hello MaximZero,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Telerik for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Itsalleasy (talk) 02:00, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Rather than delete the article, I have moved it to your user space at User:MaximZero/Telerik where you may continue to work on it at your leisure before submitting it to Wikipedia:Articles for creation for review (which is what you should do if you are associated with Telerik in any way).
Although you attempted to write the article using neutral language, the article overall looks like an advertisement or company brochure, not a Wikipedia article. Explaining the company's development approach and how the company differentiates itself, as well as providing unnecessary details about product offerings, all cause the article to appear like an advertisement. ~Amatulić (talk) 00:06, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Telerik Logo.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Telerik Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 13:48, 2 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  1. I have marked where statements need a citation.
  2. The second paragraph of the intro is too promotional. The intro is supposed to summarize content found in the body. If you want this in, you should find independent sources covering this.
  3. I believe Telerik has won some major industry awards? A sourced summary would help establish notability.

Feel free to drop me a note on my talk page after these issues are addressed. --NeilN talk to me 15:10, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at AfC Telerik was accepted

[edit]
Telerik, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.
The article has been assessed as C-Class, which is recorded on the article's talk page. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

You are more than welcome to continue making quality contributions to Wikipedia. Note that because you are a logged-in user, you can create articles yourself, and don't have to post a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for Creation if you prefer.

Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!

Hi, sorry I reverted your edit, that was wrong. The sentence appeared in two places and I was mistaken about the section where you removed it. Gap9551 (talk) 16:45, 18 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:08, 17 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
