Deletion Review You Voted in Favor of Relisting/Overturn

FYI, you voted to either re-list or overturn this article [1] after a 2nd AfD deletion. Unfortunately the article now, is incomplete with sources from the state when it was set for a 2nd AfD, many source links, found on this page, [2] are now deleted. This is unfair and perhaps you can help get this straight and give Wikipedia a better name for what it once stood for. --74.223.216.130 (talk) 05:06, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Nick Savoy

Hey Mathmo, I hope all is well. I'm planning to keep improving the seduction community articles and I've re-done the Love_Systems page already. I just completely rewrote the Nick Savoy page and put it back on DRV: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2009_January_6#User:Coaster7.2FNick_Savoy

Could you have a look at it and endorse the recreation? Thanks in advance.Coaster7 (talk) 22:53, 6 January 2009 (UTC)

Crownest has expressed interest in reviving this. Since you were involved with the FD project (now converted into a taskforce), I'm wondering if you'd be a part of the Taskforce. The taskforce is undergoing a significant overhaul at the moment, and by the end of it, it should be fairly easy to get around and there should be a nifty compendium of useful tools for people interested in FD. Discouragement over wiki's direction

I hope you are enjoying your break from wikipedia. Nothing on earth makes me happier than traveling, and if that's what you are indeed up to, I can only assume that you are enjoying yourself.

I just wanted to quickly comment on some of what you've been saying in discussion pages. Once in long while, I'll find myself so compelled by someone's commitment and insight into the wiki project that I'll follow them around over a range of topics and discussions. Some of those comments are old; some are new. But tonight it was you.

Regardless, I just wanted to say I enjoyed reading what you wrote. I dip my toes into editing every once in a while, and I know how hard it can be. Obviously, you have shown commitment to it over the years, which is laudable, but more than that, I just like the way you approached the problems and the clarity of your responses. Because of this crazy internet, it's quite easy for me to reach out and offer you encomium and so I shall.

I don't know if you are still discouraged at the state of wikipedia, but I hope you return to wiki editing with renewed vim and vigor: we (meaning humans) always need a few more good people. Clemenjo (talk) 07:42, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

thank you for taking an interest :) I got back from my tour of the North Island of NZ with my gf at the time back late last year, was fun. And of course good company makes all the difference! As for wikipedia, partly I didn't like a general move towards deletionism but mainly I didn't have an internet connection at home. Flatmate moved out, taking the internet connection with him and I didn't see the huge need to replace it. Instead I've experimented with going on a very low internet usage diet. Only going to a cybercafe for half an hour or so once every few days, in between only briefly checking up on gmail & facebook via my phone. But now I'm back at Uni I expect I'll be using computers a lot more, and thus finding myself online far far more frequently. And knowing how easily I get distracted... some of that time I'll be spending on wikipedia for sure! Mathmo Talk 04:38, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

It seems like...

You have contributed to many articles pertaining to the seduction community. Please help improve the articles for Jordan Harbinger, Joshua Pellicer, and Johnny Dzubak. Thanks! EdrevEpac (talk) 16:05, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

I tend to edit articles that I'm interested in (as after all I'm volunteer like everybody else, then again sometimes I edit articles just because I'm plain bored/procrastinating...) I don't have any great interest in the Art of Charm guys beyond their connection to the seduction community, plus I believe you are connected to them? So thank you for the request :) But nah, I'll leave you to it (the articles are looking fairly good as it is). Mathmo Talk 01:26, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
A further comment: just noticed what another wrote on your talk page, as well as the WP:COI concern I also agree that now I take a better second look at the articles they do indeed look quite similar to each other. Perhaps you might want to change them each to a redirect to a merged article for the staff of the company? Mathmo Talk 01:30, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Your question about TinyPic

TinyPic makes money solely on ad impressions on their upload, view and search pages. The hosting portion, although it uses a lot of bandwidth, is supported by the ads. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Themadtiger (talk • contribs) 17:07, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

DRosin

Hey man, seem to remember you were involved in the Community pages... Anyway, found one of Adam Lyons' business partners going through and methodically spamming and vandalizing pages:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:DRosin#COI - just a heads up! WoodenBuddha (talk) 03:20, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

  • * Hey Mathmo, I am afraid the COI section has been permanently removed by an Oversighter as WoodenBuddha violated the Wikipedia rules by posting a bunch of pictures of some guy. I am also afraid that I am not one of Adam Lyons' business partners, as cool as that might be, so but feel free to check my contribs and see for yourself. I remember you posting on my talk page about scandals before, lol, if you haven't heard about Stephane Hemon and his ex-girlfriends, all that is pretty funny DRosin (talk) 22:17, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Average frustrated chump. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Average frustrated chump (4th nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
