Merry Christmas!
A very happy Christmas and New Year to you! | |
|
- Thank you SchroCat. Seeing you name pop up on my watchlist was an early Xmas gift :-) I'm also happy you used Fezziwig's ball in your greeting. A favorite passage in the book and the many versions on film, TV, and stage. Here is a delightful one. Thanks again and best wishes for your 2023. MarnetteD|Talk 18:33, 22 December 2022 (UTC)

Seasons Greetings
Hi Michael, just a quick note to wish you a happy Christmas. I'll send you an email over the next few days, the second half of this year has been a bit...I dunno, a bit 'something' for me. Hope all is well with your fine self though. Talk to you soon.
Bertaut (talk) 13:40, 22 December 2022 (UTC)

Happy holidays!
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year, MarnetteD!
The other day, I was having a conversation with someone about holiday cards and social media. It occurred to me that, in the years since I left Facebook, the site I use most to communicate with people I like isn't actually a social media site at all. If you're receiving this, it's pretty likely I've talked with you more recently than I have my distant relatives and college friends on FB, at very least, and we may have even collaborated on something useful. So here's a holiday "card", Wikipedia friend. :) Hope the next couple weeks bring some fun and/or rest. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 18:48, 22 December 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks R. A most cogent observation on your part! Temps here dropped 60 degrees since yesterday so I am typing as fast as I can in an attempt to warm up the room - though that does increase the likelihood of typos :-) Best wishes to ya now and in the year ahead. Happy New Year, Michael
Many thanks for your delightful Christmas email. As always gratefully received. I trust you are well and have not been too severely affected by the dreadful snow storm. What a year it has been! Wishing you a safe 2023, Keep safe!
Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) (contribs) 14:00, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks Gareth Griffith-Jones. A double whammy of snow. The one at Xmas was light but included freezing temps. The one a couple days ago was wet and heavy. My bad back prefers the former :-) Best wishes for your 2023!! MarnetteD|Talk 21:53, 1 January 2023 (UTC)
