Speedy deletion nomination of User:Markypooh/sandbox
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on User:Markypooh/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — O Fortuna! Suggestions for your sandbox article
[edit]Hi Markypooh, I have some suggestions for improving your sandbox article on RAID which I can make on the sandbox page and/or its talk page if you are amenable. Cheers, • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 05:43, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
- I welcome any improvements. I was planning on adding a conservation section with links to the Bell Island Mine archaeology, exploration and conservation. I do not know my way around the communications on wiki. Markypooh (talk) 01:50, 8 March 2017 (UTC)markypooh
- I have a message out to Steve Lewis a principal diver on those dives. I also plan on linking the stubs to RAID to this new page. I have seen a few, not sure the best way to find them all, but sure I can devise some type of search.

- I have taken the liberty of indenting your reply as is customary on talk pages - it makes it easier to follow a conversation when the later responses are indented one step further than the comment they are responding to.
- I am watching your user pages as I have posted on them so any response you make here or on the sandbox or sandbox talk will get to me. It is also possible to send an alert to any user when you mention them on a talk page by any one of several reply templates. I use {{U}} as it is easy to remember.
- I will make some suggestions on the talk page of your sandbox, but later as it is a bit late now to think coherently. Probably tomorrow. Cheers, • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 20:34, 8 March 2017 (UTC)
- I updated the exceptional statement and gave a more accurate cite but did not remove the tag, review and remove if that is more inline with standards. Markypooh (talk) 08:40, 9 March 2017 (UTC)markypooh
Image without license
[edit]Unspecified source/license for File:Logo of RAID.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Logo of RAID.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}}
(to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (Talk • Contribs • Owner) 05:01, 11 August 2017 (UTC)
August 2017
[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Rebreather Association of International Divers, from its old location at User:Markypooh/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Jupitus Smart 08:24, 11 August 2017 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Logo of RAID.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Logo of RAID.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:47, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
