Your submission at Articles for creation
[edit]I noticed your submission in Articles for creation, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/St Mark's Church of England, Layton, Blackpool, UK. Thanks! It will be reviewed by a volunteer soon.
Before it can be added to Wikipedia, your submission should have references. All articles on Wikipedia should have inline, numbered references after facts, showing the 'reliable source' (a newspaper, book, etc.) where the information can be checked, so that all information is verifiable.
Here's an example of how to add references:
He likes tea.<ref> Smith, John. "[http://foonews.com/Article42 Interview with Chzz]", Foo News, 1 April 2010. Retrieved 2011-05-22. </ref>
== References ==
{{reflist}}
That makes the references automatically display as small numbers[1] which will link to the details in the section titled == References == at the end. You can see that example in action here.
Please add references to your submission, which will be reviewed as soon as possible. See also, Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners. If you need any help, just put {{helpme}} at the end of this page, followed by a question or get into our live help chat chanel at #wikipedia-en-help connect.

[edit]No need to apologise - we are so keen for new users to come and start editing that there is maybe not enough of a "Read this before you start", so many new users get off on the wrong foot. As you are connected with the subject, you have from our point of view a WP:Conflict of interest, so you have done the write thing by submitting your article at AfC.
The problem you may run into is establishing WP:Notability, Wikipedia's general criterion for what shall have an article, which is not a matter of opinion but needs to be established by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." The test is, have people independent of the subject thought it important enough to write significant comment about? See WP:42.
WP:Your first article is a good guide, and you may find User:JohnCD/Not a noticeboard helpful for background.
We don't delete accounts, but the StMarks one will just sit there dormant and no one is likely to come across it.
