Since you deleted it, could you please userfy Pyramid game and tournament play so that I can edit the page? It was prod-deleted without dispute. However, the current Pyramid (game show) article currently contains no info about the actual game play. I think that it would be easier to userfy the page (so that I can edit it and whittle it down to a more concise summary of Pyramid gameplay) than it would be to rewrite the whole thing from scratch. My RfA
Thank you very much for giving your support to my admin application, which recently closed successfully (36/3/1). I hope I can continue to justify the confidence that you have placed in me. If there is any way that I can help out more, or if you have any handy tips for a freshly-hatched admin (with the possible exception of deleting the main page!), please drop me a line. Thanks again. - 52 Pickup (deal) 22:24, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

My Successful RfA
After reading and participating in many RfAs in the past, frankly, I didn’t expect the overwhelming positive response I received. The admin coaching must have really paid off! I hope that all your coachees have as good of an experience as I did. Thanks again for everything! —Travistalk 18:20, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Hello! I just replaced a short article you created Erica (name) with a redirect to a longer article Erika (given name) which appears to contain all of the former's content with a few subtle differences. I did not use {{mergefrom}} because I did not think the merge would be controversial. I did want to point my change out in case you felt these differences were worth emphasizing in the larger article. -- KathrynLybarger (talk) 01:07, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

My RfB
I wanted to personally thank you, Malinaccier, for your support in my recent RfB. I am thankful and appreciative that you feel that I am worthy of the trust the community requires of its bureaucrats, and I hope to continue to behave in a way that maintains your trust in me and my actions. I have heard the community's voice that they require more of a presence at RfA's of prospective bureaucrats, and I will do my best over the near future to demonstrate such a presence and allow the community to see my philosophy and practices in action. I hope I can continue to count on your support when I decide to once again undergo an RfB. If you have any suggestions, comments, or constructive criticisms, please let me know via talkpage or e-mail. Thank you again. -- Avi (talk) 15:14, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Admin coaching
Thanks for the hard work. I'm actually co-coording with User:Ballonman. Right now the biggest challenge we face is recruiting more coaches. Any admins you know who aren't coaches can be recruited. If you'd like to follow coach links to their admins and find admins who don't have a set program (what I call advisor coaches) and offer them the program, that would probably be a good, non-spamming thing. And of course, if you'd like to list it in your status-line and in the virtual classroom navbox, thats also good. Another task you might've seen is to determine what exactly make a good admin. We at AC teach things like having the right edit count, the right policy view, etc, but as Kim points out, it really doesn't link to what admins do. Another issue is to collect statistics on admin passes and fails (edit counts, account age, etc). I have no idea how to do it, but I assume Mathbot's output could be used. Thanks for taking an interest! MBisanz talk 04:05, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

My request for bureaucratship
Dear Malinaccier, thank you for taking part in my RfB. As you may know, it was not passed by bureaucrats.
I would, however, like to thank you for taking the time to voice your support, despite concerns cited by the opposition. Although RfA/B isn't really about a person, but more about the community, I was deeply touched and honoured by the outpouring of support and interest in the discussion. I can only hope that you don't feel your opinion was not considered enough - bureaucrats have to give everyone's thoughts weight.
I also hope that the results of this RfB lead to some change in the way we approach RfBs, and some thought about whether long-entrenched standards are a good thing in our growing and increasingly heterogenous community.
I was a little miserable after the results came out, so I'm going to spread the love via dancing hippos. As you do. :)
I remain eager to serve you as an administrator and as an editor. If at any point you see something problematic in my actions, please do not hesitate to call me out. ~ Riana ⁂ 13:49, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Your block of RBSIS24
Hi there. Can I just ask a quick for this guy who you blocked yesterday. Whilst it would appear that a block was certainly forthcoming, can I ask whether on reflecion an indefinite block was appropriate? Whilst I agree that a block was likely to happen anyway after only two contribs it's hard to say that there were ground to assume under WP:BLOCK that there was going to be significant disruption or a major policy breach.
If I've missed something on this one please feel free to let me know that I'm barking up the wrong tree! Can I assume that you'll reply on my talk page if necessary? Thanks BigHairRef | Talk 17:32, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for getting back so quickly. To be honest the explanation you gave is probably a fair one. As you've said if he wasn't using it only as a vandal account he'd likely have put a request for unblock by now (assuming he knows about the tag). I'll leava it to you as far as what you think is the most appropriate action as I've already said your respone is a fair account of what's likely to happen. Thanks for the BS as well. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Chiodosbros album.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Chiodosbros album.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:18, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Newb admin with a quick question
Hey, User:Rgoodermote completed a RfA and wrote his acceptance statement, so I transcluded it and users started !voting. Now it appears he was not planing on actually having an RfA for another week and was just using it to work on answering the questions. I told him a better place for that was his userspace and that he should probably withdraw. He has sense asked for it to be deleted, but I am not sure if I should as there is some content, and users have !voted. Not sure if there is some un-written rule or a policy that would help me.... List of Screenwriters
Can you explain your removal of the PROD? I am unclear why you object. the list is not serving any useful purpose as it stands and should be reworked into more specific lists. You didn't leave a comment on the talk page.EraserGirl (talk) 21:39, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- There is already such a category, and No I didn't understand your summary. I aree lists and categories coexist. But THIS list does not contain any parameters, it could potentially contain a hundred thousand names. We don't have a list containing the names of ALL films? or ALL television programs, or all writers, hence this list should be broken into many lists. I was told that PROD was the method to begin this process. Simply wiping it away doesn't actually solve the problem. EraserGirl (talk) 21:57, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, you have muddled it up for me. As yet no one HAS disagreed with the deletion, not even you apparently. Now replacing this one nonsensical list with two dozen orderly more specialized lists will have to wait, while persons from outside the WP:BIO & Screenwriters project have to be convinced of what I had already put forth in the PROD. EraserGirl (talk) 22:37, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

- Could you please delete that list? I have a plan to break it into lists by media format and then by decade allowing for overlap for writers that are prominent for many decades. It will more or less resemble the other lists on WP. That would really save me so much time and effort. EraserGirl (talk) 22:46, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
why the revert and block for Special:Contributions/70.181.86.163

Do you think that something should be done about KellyAna (talk · contribs), the user who just attacked me? From what I've seen, this user is flat out rude and has accused other editors of incivil behavior as well as failing to assume good faith (see here) as an example. I'm not sure if this user's contribs are persistent and/or worrisome enough for ANI or not. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 00:22, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- Replying here for now. I think she (right, she?) does need to assume good faith, or at least better faith. I can see from that diff that she's been harassing you. I've taken a look at her recent talk page threads, and I've noticed several warnings her about civility. This doesn't probably warrant a discussion at ANI, but it may end up going there later if she doesn't fix her behavior. I'll drop her a line...Malinaccier (talk) 00:30, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- One, one warning, not several. One. And it was a specific issue resulting from a user attacking my religion which we worked out. In all honesty, not allowing TPH and I to work it out without the butting in really isn't helping, it's more like the two of you ganging up on me rather than allowing two editors to work it out. Ganging up on someone never helps. KellyAna (talk) 01:20, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Why on Earth did you delete that The Scourge Project game stub? Stubs are supposed to be expanded, not deleted. The Scourge Project is an existing project that is referenced by every major game reviewing site. It's been officially announced by Tragnarion Studios and the page had nothing to do with speculation. Moreover, what moral ground do you have to discard the efforts of other users without any consideration? I am seriously questioning your judgment on this one, especially considering the resulting unavailability of the revision history tab. Rankiri (talk) 03:04, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- The article The Scourge Project was tagged with the template {{prod}}, which is a request for an article to be uncontroversially deleted. After a PROD tag is on an article for 5 days, an article can be deleted without further notice. The Scourge Project had this tag on it for five days, and because nobody objected to its deletion by removing <ref>{{prod}}</ref>, I deleted it. This is perfectly within policy. Though the game has been oficially announced, it is still not notable per WP:CRYSTAL. Though a lot of work may have been put into it, it is still deletable per WP:EFFORT. If you still disagree with the deletion of the article, then see WP:DRV. Thank you, Malinaccier Public (talk) 12:33, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'll admit that you acted in accordance with the expired prod deletion guidelines, however, I would still like to contest the validity of the original {{prod}} request and [informally] apply for undeletion of the stub. It is my understanding that WP:CRYSTAL refers to unverifiable information. The information on existence of that project may be scarce, but it is most certainly not unverifiable or speculative in nature.

- I have little personal interest in that particular page - frankly, I spent mere minutes of my own time on it, - but I just don't see how it is different from any other unreleased projects that have their own pages on Wikipedia. Just a couple of examples off the top of my head: Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Indiana Jones 4 (2008), Red Alert 3, StarCraft II, Windows 7... the list can go on and on. BioShock 2 in particular has a page that is nearly indistinguishable from the one you deleted. Should {{prod}} be applied to it too, as well as to all underdeveloped stubs in general? I'd like you to shed some light on this confusion if possible. Rankiri (talk) 17:43, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- If you can provide references, and a specific release date (rather than "Later this year") I will allow the page to be recreated. I will create a page for you to work on it here. Best of luck =)! Malinaccier (talk) 23:08, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- Very well, then. I'll try to add some details to the page when I have the time, and I hope you'll take a quick pause and consider some of the points I've made should a similar situation ever arise in the future. Take care. Rankiri (talk) 00:21, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi, Malinaccier. User talk:216.157.209.48 has returned from your block and resumed vandalism. Thought you might want to take a look at the edit history of Amelia Bloomer. Thanks. Gwguffey (talk) 18:17, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
Size of WP:AWC
I'll get right on that. Most of the extraneous stuff is a holdover from the days when User:The_Transhumanist ran the Award Center. It was recently "given" to me a few weeks ago and I am still in the process of making it my own. I shall delete all completed task section, as well as the section on award recipients. --Sharkface217 23:49, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- Feel free to cut sections that are fully completed. If you have the time, I'm currently looking for a few other people to help me manage the Awards Center, as it is currently getting to be a bit much for me to handle on my own. --Sharkface217 23:55, 24 March 2008 (UTC)
- Holy carp! Good job on cutting out stuff from WP:AWC. I pass out for an hour and a half (1 full, restful sleep cycle) and all this work is done. Thanks a ton! --Sharkface217 02:05, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- All the same, I'm incredibly grateful for your service. Thank you. If you feel the desire to contribute more to WP:AWC, more challenges are always welcome. --Sharkface217 20:49, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Award Center
Since your hosting the Welcome 1000 users challenge, I was wondering. How do you know that someone has invited over 1000 users?--RyRy5 talk 16:59, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for telling me. I have at least welcomed 600-700 users. Only 300 to go...--RyRy5 talk 23:36, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks!
Thanks for the greeting here! I only wish that everyone in the world could be as friendly as you- perhaps then better things might go on. Well I guess we can all hope for that one day... Having a wonderful time (talk) 23:34, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Anything still wrong with Louis Bazin? - Milk's Favorite Cookie 22:17, 27 March 2008 (UTC)\
- If you are making a reference to the things like "Ecole Normale Superieure de la rue d'Ulm," this is correct because it is a proper noun, therefore it is literally the name of the place. I have changed "National School of Oriental Languages Alive) to the proper French noun, but otherwise the article appears correct. Malinaccier (talk) 01:05, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

AIV comment template
Hello, I'm not sure if you know me or not :) I recently created a template for AIV, I feel it could be useful though. Its Template:AIV comment. It can be substituited in as well. What do you think of it?Steve Crossin (talk to me) 17:49, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
I will propose the template to AIV talk page at some point. However, it still has some bugs. When I tried to post a diff into it, it didn't display correctly. At all. Does the template need tweaking in order to be able to do that? Steve Crossin (talk to me) 18:02, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Great, it works perfectly now. Thanks a lot. Just wondering, would you use the template? :P I've used it a little bit myself, but should I wait till consensus agrees to adopting the template, or am I OK to use it myself for now? Steve Crossin (talk to me) 18:16, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Re:AIV
Sorry, it was my first time adding a report there. Thanks for your kindness though.--RyRy5 talk 19:55, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, but just one thing. Is a revert a mainspace edit?--RyRy5 talk 20:00, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
- That's what I plan to do. I only have about 375+ mainspace edits out of my 3600+. I have been focusing more on mainspace these last few days and I hope to continue it. Thanks.--RyRy5 talk 20:06, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
