Speedy deletion nomination of User:Maija DiGiorgio DiGiorgio/sandbox
[edit]A tag has been placed on User:Maija DiGiorgio DiGiorgio/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Sockpuppet investigation
[edit]An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/DiGiorgio DiGiorgio, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Original Poster's Response
[edit]Hello! I believe I may have unintentionally committed Sockpuppetry, and would like to correct the situation. I originally was trying to create a page for Maija DiGiorgio via the wikipedia account with the username "DiGiorgio Maija". However, my outside editor was unable to log into that wikipedia account and made a new page for Maija DiGiorgio via the new wikipedia account, username "Maija DiGiorgio DiGiorgio". I'm very sorry for the misunderstanding. It was not my intention to create 2 pages for Maija DiGiorgio; it was only done because my editor got locked out of the original one. Can someone please help me rectify this situation? Thank you in advance! Maija DiGiorgio DiGiorgio (talk) 05:59, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
Hello! I believe I may have unintentionally committed Sockpuppetry, which has lead to my account being blocked, and would like to correct the situation. I originally was trying to create a page for Maija DiGiorgio via the wikipedia account with the username "DiGiorgio Maija". However, my outside editor was unable to log into that wikipedia account (because the original bio required a new submission) and his way of attempting to do the resubmission was making a new page for Maija DiGiorgio via the new wikipedia account, username "Maija DiGiorgio DiGiorgio". I'm very sorry for the misunderstanding. It was not my intention to create 2 pages for Maija DiGiorgio; it was only done because my editor didn't know what he was doing. I will no longer be working with him Can someone please help me rectify this situation? Thank you in advance!
Decline reason:
So in addition to the abuse of multiple accounts, you're also engaged in undisclosed paid editing and account sharing? All in all, seems like a pretty good set of reasons to decline this appeal. Yunshui 雲水 07:29, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
Hello again. Yunshi has brought to my attention that I had also committed account sharing. I was unaware of this policy, and I apologize for violating it. As for undisclosed paid editing, I specifically instructed my editor to disclose that he was a paid editor. I am unsure if he failed to do so out of negligence or because the account was blocked before he could do so, but regardless I will no longer be having him assist in editing my wikipedia page-- I intend to learn about wikipedia myself and do it on my own (in the hopeful event that my account gets unblocked). Is there anything else I can do to rectify this situation? Also, I would like to get rid of my old wikipedia account to correct the sockpuppeting issue, but since I only made the second account in the first place because I'm unable to login to my original account, I'm unsure how I can go about deleting it. Again, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience my ignorance about how to use wikipedia/it's regulations has caused. Please let me know what I can do on my end to move forward. Thank you.
Decline reason:
"editing my wikipedia page". No. This is a fundamental problem. You will not be unblocked to write about yourself, I'm afraid. Wikipedia is different to most sites; here, conflicts of interest are a problem (whereas most sites are essentially marketing sites, perfectly fine but WP:NOT what Wikipedia is about). We aren't interested in what you have to say about yourself and you won't be unblocked to write about yourself. Yamla (talk) 10:39, 5 July 2019 (UTC)
