[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia! Just wanted to let you know that if the very first sentence of the article doesn't have a footnote, it may not actually need one - see WP:LEADCITE. The rest of the article probably has footnotes that support what the first sentence says, so there's no need to take time to add a dictionary footnote to confirm the definition of the article subject.
