Welcome
[edit]Hello, Maastricht Treaty (work of student M.Gibson) and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.
Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! CommanderWaterford (talk) 17:30, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]Howdy! It looks like you've questioned the notability of several very large companies with extensive coverage. For example, CVS Health is a consolidated healthcare company with $257 billion in revenues; 13 on the Fortune 500. It's always good to raise questions, but on ones like that where the question is a little fuzzy, it may be a good idea to start a discussion on the article's talk page indicating why you feel there is a doubt. Thanks! Kuru (talk) 20:09, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
- Also tagged Enel, one of the largest electrical utilities in the world. This behavior is not acceptable. --Ita140188 (talk) 13:48, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
- Ita140188 Sorry, I'm learning new ways to work on Wikipedia. Thank you for your advice. --Maastricht Treaty (work of student M.Gibson) (talk) 14:06, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
September 2020
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Travon Free, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Specifically, refer to MOS:REPEATLINK and MOS:OVERLINK. —Bagumba (talk) 11:06, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Kelly A. Hyman
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Kelly A. Hyman requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kelly Hyman. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
