Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "MOHHC", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it clearly stands for Medal of Honor Heritage Center. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Hello, as the full name of our organization is the Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center we go by different shorthand variations. Either National Medal of Honor Heritage Center and even MOHHC. Our website url for our center is even www.mohhc.org. MOHHC (talk) 15:37, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia accounts cannot be named after companies, organizations or groups of people. Accounts are for the sole use of one person who does not share access with anyone else. Please submit a request to have your account renamed, or else it will be blocked for violating Wikipedia's username policy. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:56, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have requested my username to be changed to another. Would making this change remove the work I have in my sandbox in creating a wiki page for my organization? MOHHC (talk) 18:25, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you get a new name, all your edits will be transferred with it, including your sandbox. Drmies (talk) 19:32, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please also be aware that Wikipedia is not a directory, so an organization is not entitled to have a Wikipedia article just because it exists. All topics must be notable by Wikipedia's definition to merit inclusion. In the specific case of an organization , it must meet the notability criteria for companies and organizations. For this to happen, the organization must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what an organization wishes to say about itself, as this is an inherent conflict of interest. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:09, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, if you are employed by this organization or otherwise paid to represent them, then it is mandatory for you to disclose this per Wikipedia's paid editing disclosure policy. This applies even if you are not being paid specifically to edit Wikipedia; your employment is enough by itself to trigger this policy. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:26, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center, from its old location at User:EJPS117/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 22:59, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
