Help

{{helpme}} Is there a warning template for making repetitive unreferenced claims that you can place on a user talk page? MMS2013 16:20, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

All the warning templates are listed at WP:WARN. {{subst:uw-unsourced1}} and so on might be the ones you need. General advice at WP:VANDAL. JohnCD (talk) 16:27, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
Thanks! :) MMS2013 16:29, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

March 2010

</nowiki>

I want these headers update automatically for whatever time of year it is, so if it was April 2012 or whenever else, it would indicate it in the header. What code can I use for this? MMS2013 12:51, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

You need {{CURRENTYEAR}}, {{CURRENTMONTH}} - 2024, 11
See WP:MAGIC!  Chzz  ►  12:59, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
P.S. Actually, I guess you want {{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} - November - but you get the idea.  Chzz  ►  13:04, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
Thank you! :) MMS2013 13:06, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
You're welcome.
P.P.S. I don't know if you know, but, well - like that, they'll change. So, if you look at this in April, they will show April. To 'fix' the date when you create the page, you'd use subst: - you know?
For example, if I put here, {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}}, it'll show the number right now: 6,908,983
If I put {{subst:NUMBEROFARTICLES}} it will insert the value at the time I hit save: 3,229,838
So, the 2nd one will never change; the number itself is stored, in this page. The first one will be ticking up.
Shout out if you need more help. Use this link to talk to me. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  13:10, 23 March 2010 (UTC)

The MOTD Needs You!

April Fool's Day is round the corner, but alas! We have reached no consensus, yet. Only yours truly and pjoef have commented, and that is not fast enough at all! Please go to Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/Specials to comment about the April Fool's Day mottos. We cannot leave a redlink on the MOTD templates, especially on such an important day! All the best, Kayau Voting IS evil 01:47, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
