Boring job fixing capitalization
Why are you working on these? Isn't it boring?--Inetpup 08:46, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
- It's fast, easy, and needs to be done. --Matt 14:29, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Passport control for domestic flights in international terminals at SFO
I didn't say they needed to clear passport control. They must navigate around it! Thanks.--Inetpup 04:46, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, well I don't think it's a noteworthy entry for Wikipedia. --Matt 04:48, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- There's your proof. Happy now? If it wasn't noteworthy i would'nt have bothered! --Inetpup 05:14, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- Nope, not really... the "proof" you gave didn't assert the notability of your claim, or even the truthfulness. --Matt 14:11, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Personal street sweeper/janitor
It's nice to know if that I drop trails of crumbs behind me, you're like my personal janitor that shadows me with a broom and cleans things up. --Inetpup 14:54, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- You really ought to use Preview a bit ;) --Matt 14:59, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- I'll just keep what I'm doing. You don't seem to mind, and perhaps enjoy it.--Inetpup 09:32, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
Joking
I never intended to damage the article. Besides, you always fix it within five minutes at all times of the day. Thanks.--Inetpup 09:32, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
- But your jokes do damage the articles, that's the very premise of the uw-joke templates. Sometimes your joke edits have lasted a day or more. If one person who's not an editor notices the vandalism, then you've hurt Wikipedia's credibility. --Matt 12:51, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
Currency Image:500 qatari riyal back.gif
Hi, To assist global anti-counterfeiting efforts you may wish to consider marking images of banknotes you upload as "Specimen" in some way, if those banknotes represent legal tender.ShakespeareFan00 16:15, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- Can you link to some information on what you mean? I didn't scan the money myself, I just copied the gif from the website for the Qatari Central Bank and uploaded it. Do you mean you want me to download the image, watermark it somehow, then replace it? --Matt 16:58, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
Southwest revert
Why would you revert my addition on the use of stockading. If you knew a thing about planing and deplaning an aircraft you'd understand that this is technical jargon. Make your self feel important somewhere else and quit ruining Wikipedia! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 216.80.111.3 (talk • contribs).
- I reverted your edits because they are biased.
- "Southwest airlines non-reservered seating policy results in the use of stockades. Customers are placed in stockades based on some, yet to be determined, factor. Stockade A is the first to be hearded onto the plane, followed by B, and finally stockade C. Those hearded in from stockade C are usually relegated to middle seats near the rear of the plane"
- Your edits are pretty biased against Southwest's boarding method. I suggest you read WP:NPOV. Customer groups are based, I believe, on check in time. No one is herded onto the plane at all. --Matt 16:26, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
Would you be happy with this edit? "Southwest airlines non-reservered seating policy results in the use of stockades. Customers are placed in stockades based on a first come first serve basis. Stockade A is the first to be allowed onto the plane, followed by B, and finally stockade C. Those boarded from stockade C are usually relegated to middle seats near the rear of the plane" —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.57.32.185 (talk • contribs).
- Not in particular. The definition doesn't match the traditionally accepted definition of stockade, and I can't find any support for this terminology for Southwest on the internet anywhere. No one places customers in stockades, they're assigned to boarding groups. And 'relegated' sounds entirely biased. Plus, I don't think the detail is really appropriate in the article, and the bit about people in group C having to sit in middle seats sounds like original research. --Matt 03:41, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Matt you have insulted my sensibilities long enough, I challenge you to a duel. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.57.32.185 (talk • contribs).
- It's better to call him Matty. He responds much better that way. --Inetpup 06:10, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
Matty, you're back from vacation

American Airlines international sites
Cawlers 15:24, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Hi Matty,
I saw your comment in my edit for American Airlines page. Can you explain why we can't add all the international websites? They are all legitimate. Thanks. Cawlers
- Well, check out AA's list of worldwide sites. There are 30 of them, so it would be unwieldy to list all of AA's international sites. Also, if you look at WP:EL, it says "Try to avoid linking to multiple pages from the same website; instead, try to find an appropriate linking page within the site." www.aa.com, I believe, is an appropriate top level link for the context of this article. Thanks for asking, by the way, and welcome to Wikipedia. --Matt 15:58, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- See, I told you he'd respond amicably if you addressed him as Matty. --Inetpup 04:40, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- I think the way you should add those international sites is the following: just add them to the respective international article. The problem with that is that you have to open multiple international Wikipedia accounts.--Inetpup 04:06, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
Matty, can I nominate you for WikiboardElection??
Let me know. Time is running out! Thanks.--Inetpup 04:50, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
