A cheeseburger for you!

Nice work on the Tennessee–Vanderbilt football rivalry article! I actually can't believe that Wikipedia didn't have an article on the subject until a few days ago: thanks for fixing that problem! PS: Respect to the SEC from Big Ten country (I'm a Michigan student from Ann Arbor). Take care and keep up the good work! Michael Barera (talk) 20:24, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Userfied data

[edit]

Hey, someone nominated a page you created for a speedy deletion since it was too early for it to be in the mainspace. It is too soon, but I think it'd be a waste to delete everything entirely so I moved it all to User:MDSanker/2015 Vanderbilt Commodores football team. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 09:04, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Regarding your recent edit at 2015 Tennessee Volunteers football team, "12:00 p.m." is in fact incorrect, and "Noon" is correct. This is because of the Manual of Style requirements of WP:TIME, which dictates this format. Thanks! BenYes? 22:23, 9 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 1982 Vanderbilt Commodores football team, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 1982 college football season. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:38, 4 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mick Tucker

[edit]

Hi, just a FYI, I fixed the infobox, the "background" parameter only gets one choice, so I put solo singer, since he was not a "non vocal instrumentalist". See: Template:Infobox musical artist. The entry that was in that parameter was causing it to go into the maintenance fix category for the template. Funandtrvl (talk) 19:15, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Old Vandy teams

[edit]

Thank you for your recent work. I still have to find the time to do 1904 and 1905, but I've at least done something for all the other great McGugin years. Would appreciate you one day looking for any mistakes in them. Cake (talk) 07:21, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@MDSanker: With your connection to Dickson and the military, you might find the 1915 Vanderbilt v. Ole Miss game of interest. Cake (talk) 15:30, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I will look for the info on the game. Also on the PDF Vanderbilt University Quarterly they have the 1908 football revenue for the season and each game profit and loss. I was wondering if it would be info that the page would need? MDSanker 15:49, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Vanderbilt rankings table

[edit]

They have not received a single vote all year. They are already 4-4, 1-3 in SEC. There is no way they get any votes this year. There is no reason to have an entire table just to say they weren't ranked and were no where close to being ranked. Its just one less thing that won't need to be updated every week or removed at the end of the season.Bsuorangecrush (talk) 01:16, 24 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It's Vanderbilt football, of course I can predict what is going to happen. Everyone can predict what will happen. It's Vanderbilt!Bsuorangecrush (talk) 01:22, 24 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted edits...

[edit]

Can you please explain to me why you reverted my edits this time? Corporate sponsors, unless it is in fact the name of the game like the Russell Athletic Bowl or the Foster Farms Bowl should not be included on Wikipedia on season articles. And you removed the year from the bowl in the info box so instead of liking to the actual game it goes to the more ambiguous Independence Bowl page. You removed the opponent from the info box which makes no sense since that is always present for bowl games. And you removed the head to head record box, which is present for every other game on the article. So please, what was worth reverting about any of that? Bsuorangecrush (talk) 16:51, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I find it extremely rude that a military member would say "I don't think it matters that I reverted your edits as long as it was correct in the end". I was right the first time. Your reverts and edits were the problem yet you don't admit any wrong doing.Bsuorangecrush (talk) 23:06, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Scores

[edit]

Please see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject College football/Archive 19#Score format in season article schedule tables on how the scores should be listed in season articles. The WikiProject College football members had a discussion and as a result, the highest score comes first, regardless of whether or not the home team is the winner or loser. Your contributed article, Water (Water Saigon Kick album)

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Water (Water Saigon Kick album). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Water (Saigon Kick album). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Water (Saigon Kick album). If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Fram (talk) 08:49, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you had a page before. Why was it not linked to the Saigon Kick band page? It was not linked to there albums or anything else. The only thing that was linked was back to this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saigon_Kick page. I only made a new page is because there was not one before. MDSanker 21:41, 2 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
