Request reason:
I'm acitve on the Wikipedia - de.wiki - since october 2007, the User Benutzer:E-dvertising ist verified since 2014 and I was never blocked etc., until a couple of days ago, when my User User_talk:E-dvertising was blocked due to WP:USERNAME. Admin User:Cullen328 wrote I'd have to set up a new user to be able to work on en.wiki in the futrue, that's what I did with my real name, I hope that's and my aim to work in a transparent manner (adding WP:PAID - templates etc.) following the guidleines and rules will be restored and possible mARTin 19:08, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
Accept reason:
- you will disclose who is paying you, on whose behalf the edits are made, and any other relevant affiliation;
- you will do so by placing the {{Connected contributor (paid)}} template on the talk page of all articles you're paid to propose changes to;
- you will never edit existing articles in the article namespace directly; (exceptions: purely typographical fixes, and reverting obvious vandalism/BLP violations under the strict conditions of WP:BANEX. Also, of course, you may edit articles you have no COI/connection to, like any other volunteer)
- instead, you will request changes on the talk page of such articles, using {{request edit}};
- you will put new articles through the Articles for Creation (AfC) process instead of creating them directly;
- you will never act as a reviewer at AfC, new pages patrol or elsewhere;
- you will respect volunteers by keeping discussions concise (see WP:PAYTALK).

Unblock condition proposal
[edit]The English Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline contains the following advice for paid editors, in addition to WP:PAID's strict requirements:
- you must disclose who is paying you, on whose behalf the edits are made, and any other relevant affiliation;
- you should make the disclosure on your user page, on affected talk pages, and whenever you discuss the topic;
- you are very strongly discouraged from editing affected articles directly;
- you may propose changes on talk pages by using the
{{request edit}}
template or by posting a note at the COI noticeboard, so that they can be peer reviewed; - you should put new articles through the Articles for Creation (AfC) process instead of creating them directly;
- you must not act as a reviewer of affected article(s) at AfC, new pages patrol or elsewhere;
- you should respect volunteers by keeping discussions concise (see WP:PAYTALK).
I propose the following unblock conditions for an indefinite duration:
- you will disclose who is paying you, on whose behalf the edits are made, and any other relevant affiliation;
- you will do so by placing the {{Connected contributor (paid)}} template on the talk page of all articles you're paid to propose changes to;
- you will never edit existing articles in the article namespace directly; (exceptions: purely typographical fixes, and reverting obvious vandalism/BLP violations under the strict conditions of WP:BANEX. Also, of course, you may edit articles you have no COI/connection to, like any other volunteer)
- instead, you will request changes on the talk page of such articles, using {{request edit}};
- you will put new articles through the Articles for Creation (AfC) process instead of creating them directly;
- you will never act as a reviewer at AfC, new pages patrol or elsewhere;
- you will respect volunteers by keeping discussions concise (see WP:PAYTALK).
Alternatively:
- you will never make edits with a conflict of interest at any time in the future.
Does any of these two proposals seem acceptable to you? While an agreement is binding, these conditions can be appealed by you at WP:AN at any later time – for example, after a record of helpful contributions has been established.
Thank you very much in advance and best regards,

- Thank you ~ ToBeFree for the quick check and reply. As I startet with the "Notice of paid work relating to Wikipedia" here I'd like to ad the templates and proceed as described, 'cause that's the way the (new) rules are like, hope you could un-block my account and I could so work in the two ways (paid & voluntarily), regards --mARTin 13:49, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
- p.s.: I startet a new artivle - Draft:Harald Schmied - which is a no paid - volunteer - work, is that o.k. and could that be used as draft to continue or do non-paid-articles also need to go through the Articles for Creation (AfC)) --mARTin 14:06, 12 April 2020 (UTC)
- Hi MARTin.Hinterdorfer, thank you very much. Regarding Draft:Harald Schmied, creating a "Draft:" is already the correct process: When you have finished the article, do not move the draft yourself. Instead, simply place "{{subst:submit}}" anywhere on the page, and it will be reviewed by an independent reviewer. The reviewer will then move the article to "Harald Schmied". For independent volunteer articles, you may like to add a message to the talk page, at Draft talk:Harald Schmied, saying something like "This was not a paid contribution. I have written this article without any connection to the topic. I do not have a conflict of interest regarding Harald Schmied." For paid articles, you must add {{Connected contributor (paid)}} instead of this message.
- I will probably soon unblock your account. I'll need a moment to ask JJMC89 and Cullen328 for their approval, as they are the blocking administrators in this case.
- I believe that the open, clearly disclosed way you have been editing Wikipedia even before "WP:PAID" existed, the unconditional agreement to the proposal and the additional interest in volunteer, non-paid contributions are commendable, and we shouldn't punish you for being one of the few people who have always been honest about their payments.
- Best regards,
