Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:17, 12 August 2018 (UTC)

THEM Anime Reviews

I have reverted your removal of THEM Anime Reviews on the bases that it is still listed as a reliable source for reviews at WP:A&M/ORS. If you wish to have it delisted as a reliable source, start a new discussion on the matter to WT:ANIME. —Farix (t | c) 13:40, 13 August 2018 (UTC)

Thank you for notifying me. I have now raised the question at Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard#THEM_Anime_Reviews_reliability and it seems, for the most, using T.H.E.M. Anime Reviews as a reliable source for reviews is now situational due to personnel change. lullabying (talk) 15:46, 14 August 2018 (UTC)

Missions of Love

Just a heads up but WP:MOS-AM shows the following about lead sections: "This should ideally be able to stand on its own as a short article, providing a brief summary of the topic and touching on all the main points of the whole article. At the very least, this should describe the anime or manga, its premise and plot, its author or director, and the English language licensees (if any). Avoid needless trivia, and keep the recommendations of Wikipedia:Lead section in mind. " - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 21:54, 21 September 2018 (UTC)

Civility in Editing

When editing, please remember that there is no need to be uncivil about it by calling the work of other editors fancruft, which is a derogatory term. Much of what you eliminated in your recent Free! anime edits were not my edits so this isn't about me, personally. It's about general courtesy and presumptuousness. In the future, please do not insult other editors by labeling their work in such a manner when it does not meet the criteria for that term. It would be greatly appreciated. luxartisan 21:37, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

@Ouranista: I've always seen that term as a neutral, quick way of describing irrelevant information, but I will avoid using the term unless necessary in the future. However, I suggest you read WP:FANCRUFT and WP:NOTABILITY to make your own judgment on what is considered notable information to add. Wikipedia generally caters to non/casual fans and there is some information that they don't need to know. Cheers. lullabying (talk) 21:45, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

The article is now terse, factual and dull. Congratulations? luxartisan 18:08, 2 November 2018 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ouranista (talkcontribs)

@Ouranista: The article needs to be factual because the Wikipedia articles are mostly aimed towards non/casual fans. See WP:NEUTRAL and WP:FLOWERY for what I mean. I am open to discussion about this but I will have to ask you not to drop passive-aggressive statements in my direction if you disagree. lullabying (talk) 18:42, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

I tried to remove the comment but couldn't. Please desist. luxartisan 18:49, 2 November 2018 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ouranista (talkcontribs)

Digimon Movies

Hi! All of Digimon films need their own pages plus they need voice actors too just like Digimon: The Movie & Digimon Adventure tri. have their own pages and voice actors too. I do know that Takuya Kanbara is voiced by Dave Wittenberg in Movie.

YamiYugi (talk)

@YamiYugi: I suggest you read WP:NOTABILITY to see if it warrants a separate article. If you can find critical reception from valid sources, I would say it's okay, but for now, they should be merged with List of Digimon films. The reason why Digimon: The Movie and Digimon Adventure tri. have their own articles is because there has been significant news coverage and reviews on them and more information readily available. lullabying (talk) 03:09, 1 November 2018 (UTC)

Digimon Data Squad

Hi, I already finish create a discussion at Talk:Digimon Data Squad about List of Characters. Thank you.

YamiYugi (talk)

List of Digimon Adventures characters response

I had to split off the clones of Gennai on the List of Digimon Adventure characters partly to detail them more and partly to list their voice actors. The page for Digimon Adventure tri. had a reference to Todd Haberkorn's Tweet confirming that he voiced Dark Gennai's Digimon Emperor form. --Rtkat3 (talk) 02:10, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

@Rtkat3: I think just adding them to the list of voice actors is sufficient. The clones don't need their own sections especially since most of them aren't notable and appear in one episode. I wouldn't oppose to Dark Gennai getting his own section since he is a separate character, but not the rest of the clones. Dark Gennai is officially known as "Mysterious Man", by the way. lullabying (talk) 02:29, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
That character hasn't been officially named anyway. If they do another Digimon Adventure project that follows Digimon Adventure tri., perhaps we might learn the true name of the Dark Gennai....eventually.
He wasn't given an official name, but he was credited as "Mysterious Man." lullabying (talk) 15:40, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

The changes made to Digimon Adventure tri. by User:Rtkat3 in this edit[1] is not properly sourced. Cherami Leigh and Michael Sorich have not confirmed these roles on any news site nor on social media. - 49.146.43.146 (talk) 01:40, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

In my defense, they were listed on the Anime News Network under their respectful films. If this is wrong, then I apologize for it. If you ask me, I don't think Phoenixmon sounded like Melodee Spevack. --Rtkat3 (talk) 02:10, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

@Rtkat3, please refer to the MOS for future reference, those roles should be removed because they are speculative. Any user-edited list is not a credible source WP:ANN Guidelines: "A note about using Anime News Network as a reference: ANN is divided into sections of varying quality. For news, reviews, and release information, ANN is a reliable source and close to being a newspaper of record for anime and manga. The "fan interest" pieces, however, may be pulled directly from unreliable sources and generally should not be used - http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news is the "reliable" feed. In addition, because the encyclopedia portion is user-edited, that information is not reliable by Wikipedia standards." - 49.146.43.146 (talk) 09:56, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

I moved this discussion to the right section, as it was previously inserted in an unrelated discussion on this page. @49.146.43.146: if you want to discuss @Rtkat3:'s edits, please discuss at Talk:List of Digimon Adventure characters and ping him or use his talk page, as your issues with his edit primarily do not concern me. However, I would like to point out to @Rtkat3: that IP is right. According to Wikipedia:WikiProject Anime and manga/Online reliable sources, Anime News Network's news articles and reviews are considered reliable but their encyclopedia pages/voice actor databases are not because anyone can edit them. lullabying (talk) 15:40, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

RE: IZ*ONE

WP:JTITLE does not give preference to either Western or Eastern name order; even that, it refutes your argument: "Follow the usage of academic texts or a widely used reference [...] Such sources generally give Japanese names family name first." I think a referendum should be held on which format to use in the article. diplomat’s son (talk+contrib) 18:07, 2 November 2018 (UTC)

@Diplomat's Son: Generally, name orders should be consistent across Wikipedia articles (also this is the English Wikipedia, which caters mostly to English-speaking readers, and most Western publications use Western name order for Japanese people unless they're stage names or historical names). I opened a discussion and will also be getting input from Wikipedia:WikiProject Japan. lullabying (talk) 18:27, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
The discussion is located at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/Japan-related articles#Japanese name order. lullabying (talk) 22:47, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
