Politics section on Washington article
[edit]What are you trying to do on the Politics section of the Washington article? Maybe I can help. You've made 7 edits in the last 15 minutes and most of them are relatively minor edits. --Bobblehead 20:59, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
I am not 100% efficient in editing, so after I have made an edit, I see that I have made a mistake in form. I finally have things in order. The page should read like an encyclopedia: not too wordy, footnotes in proper accredited format, etc. You may notice that many of my edits have been dealing with footnotes, something I am still learning how to do properly.
- Ahh. Okay. You may want to make use of the Show preview button. It doesn't work for the references, but if you add <references/> to the bottom of the section and then do a show preview, you can see what the footnote will look like. You just have to remember to delete the <references/> before you save your changes. Also, take a look at the following page for more info on footnotes:
- Happy editing. --Bobblehead 21:13, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Could you work out your references more fully?
[edit]Hi, I was watching your edits on the Cascadia (independence movement) page and trying to figure out some of your references, and in some cases, I can't. Particularly this reference that's just a link to an apparently unrelated top page:
http://www.jeffersonstate.com/
Could you please, please get more specific? Also, it's considered proper form to include the page/article title, organisation, author if present, and date retrieved. You can see some of the other examples of this on the page. I fixed several of your reference adds, but I couldn't figure this one out. Solarbird (talk) 05:14, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, me again. I'm trying to work with you here, but the bulk-undo isn't helping. Note that by contrast I've been actively integrating some of your adds, and have been trying to fix your references, and ask for clarification. So please see the article's talk page where I attempt to address several of your concerns. (I add this here because I don't know what you check first, or where.)
