Please help me with...
Lucy idegwu (talk) 14:53, 10 April 2016 (UTC) Hi I need help contacting eagleash.
- Hello, you can notify another user by typing {{U|*username*}} within your message. Or click on the word 'talk' after their signature which will take you to their talk-page. Eagleash (talk) 15:18, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks. Just to let you know it's a 'pipe' not an 'l' in the U template. (On my keyboard it's shift & the button below backspace on the right... looks like 2 upright dashes...). If you leave a message on a talk-pager for someone you don't need to notify them as it will show at the top of the 'skin' (as this message should have done). Eagleash (talk) 15:54, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
I hope I'm not disturbing cause I can stop sending you messages if you want me to do soLucy idegwu (talk) 15:59, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
- It's perfectly OK of course to be friendly towards other wikipedians, but having said that, it's a much more serious business editing the encyclopedia than say a form of social media would be. I would suggest finding some topics that fit in with your areas of interest and if you can add or edit something to improve the articles then please do so, but don't forget to cite your reliable sources!! Good luck. Don't be afraid to ask for help at the desk, or by using the {{help me}} template or at talk-pages. Many wiki articles form part of a project (the article talk-pages will show which projects apply) and the editors at the projects should also be able to offer guidance. Eagleash (talk) 16:35, 10 April 2016 (UTC)
Hello again. I have copy-edited your recent additions to ten Boom's page. Please start new paragraphs by leaving a line space, not by indenting, as that renders the text in a box template fashion. Please take care with punctuation, spacing and capitalisation. When you add information like that (or any info. at all really), it is absolutely vital that you cite your sources. If you do not someone will almost certainly remove your edits. See WP:REFB for more information on adding references. Eagleash (talk) 17:36, 10 April 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Click here to add a new topic
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Click here to add a new topic requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Please help me with... I'm trying to use wikimedia to research because i can access free videos and images, but I don't know how.
Lucy (talk) 15:55, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
- I'm not entirely sure what you're asking - if you want to search Wikipedia, you simply use the Search box (which is in the upper right side of every page. If you're wanting to search images, you should probably try Wikimedia Commons. If you want more help, stop by the Teahouse, Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 16:21, 14 April 2016 (UTC)
