Thank you for the welcome, I'm enjoying myself and neglecting home projects. After looking at your page, I'm guessing you discovered me when I fixed problems on one of the Doctor Who or Saw pages. :) See you around. Bento00 (talk) 17:41, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

You restored the [sic] concerning the incorrect Spanish pronoun, but "programa" is masculine and so "el" is correct. I mentioned this on the discussion page of that article, before I changed it. Thanks for contributing. I'm a little concerned about the Reception section. First of all, I don't think there's a problem with mostly positive responses since the film was mostly praised. Secondly, I was trying to organize that section in a way that separated the general/technical quotes from the personal/interpretive. Do you see it differently? Orphaned non-free media (File:Duck Products logo.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Duck Products logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:01, 15 October 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rik E. Spoor
A tag has been placed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rik E. Spoor, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Stalwart111 02:05, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
- You started two deletion discussions, one (the one now listed for deletion) with the article title spelled incorrectly. Your other one (with the correct spelling - Ryk) remains active. Just a matter of being careful with AFD titles. No big deal. Maybe have a look at enabling WP:Twinkle. Stalwart111 02:24, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed - your correctly-spelled discussion is at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ryk E. Spoor. Cheers, Stalwart111 02:48, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
- No problem at all! It was a simple mistake and didn't cause any major problems. Just a matter of getting rid of the other one so your correct one could keep going. The best tools (I think) are the Twinkle tools which include an awesome one-click XfD function. Thanks for the beer! Stalwart111 07:13, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Emily Grossman
Hello LovelyLillith,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Emily Grossman for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. MarkYabloko 10:31, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
More on Emily Grossman
While I disagree with the speedy nomination as "advertising", I'd advise you to re-word the article so that the very first sentence, the "lead", tells us why she is WP:NOTABLE and worthy of a Wikipedia article. The article at present starts "Emily Grossman is a PhD in cancer research.". Well, you probaby mean "has" not "is". But the fact that she's got a doctorate in cancer research isn't anything that special. Not everyone with a PhD should be in Wikipedia. Tell us what she does, why she shoud be in the encyclopedia. Something like "E G is a British science communicator and populariser, and an advocate for encouraging women in science." With sources to support those statements. Then go on to say "Grossman has a PhD in cancer research and expertise in molecular biology and genetics." Better sources would be useful too.
There's more good stuff in your sources which could be useful to include - her stage name of Emily Sidonie (needs a cross-reference), her date of birth (1976 or 1977, as the CNJ article says she's 28 in Dec 2006 so either her 28th or 29th birthday was in that year). Plenty to go on to make it a more substantial article. And you perhaps should stress more about her writing and broadcasting, with links to support this.
For future reference:
- there's a useful template {{official website}}
- there's also the code {{subst:L|||Grossman, Emily}} which creates the DEFAULTSORT (so she files under G, not E, in A-Z listings), adds the Category:Living people, and would have added her date of birth category if you'd included it as the first parameter (eg {{subst:L|1985||Grossman, Emily}}).
Good luck in the efforts to get more women scientists into Wikipedia - but just make sure that you tell the world, in that lead sentence, why they are in the encyclopedia. Just having a PhD isn't enough. (Though it's better than a lot of biog articles which start off "Joe Bloggs was born in Dullsville, Ohio, the third son of Bill Bloggs and Nancy nee Smith"!). Happy Editing! PamD 16:47, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. "Women are everywhere"
Hi LovelyLillith. I'm an editor of the Italian Wikipedia. I'm trying to participate to an IEG with the project "Women are everywhere". You will find the draft at this link https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IEG/Women_are_everywhere It would be great if you could have a look at it. I need any kind of suggestion or advice to improve it. Support or endorsement would be fantastic. Many thanks,--Kenzia (talk) 15:39, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
- Hi LovelyLillith. Thank you very much for your comment. For me it is important knowing the thoughts inspired by this project. I think I can understand your standpoint. My brother lives in the USA, and I live in Italy. I can have a perception of the difference in the way of tackling with issues as the gender gap, for exemple. In Italy, we are far behind in the way for a more balanced situation in life for women and men. We are behind in the perception of the gender gap too. There must be a peculiar effort for trying to improve the gender gap awareness. That's the reason why I'm trying to do something, in this direction. Wikipedia is a powerful tool. That's the reason why I'm trying to contribute with this project. I'm sure it has a lot of limits. As well as my editing history. But, I feel the necessity of doing something more. It's surely not enough, but It's a try. Pardon me for my english. Sincerely,--Kenzia (talk) 18:03, 12 April 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, just one more thing: I have taken for granted that you live in the USA. Pardon me, if that is not the case. Maybe you write a perfect English, but you live in a different country, far more problematic than Italy on this kind of issues. Please consider what I wrote about my brother living in the USA, and me living in Italy, just as an example of two different points of view. Thank you, --Kenzia (talk) 18:23, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

Digital Anthropology research
Hello LovelyLillith, My name is Stephanie Barker and I am a student at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am currently enrolled in a Digital Anthropology class, which attempts to answer how the digital world affects culture and how culture affects the digital world. For my final project I am doing an ethnography on women Wikipedia users and as a member of the WikiProject Women page I was hoping I could ask you some questions about your experiences editing Wikipedia pages. 1. Have you ever been locked into an intense editing war? If yes, please explain the situation to me. 2. How did you become interested in editing Wikipedia pages and did you have any initial fears/hesitations when you started editing pages? 3. Have you ever been a victim of a mass deletion or other vandalism on Wikipedia? If yes, please explain the situation to me. 4. How would you describe your gender? 5. Is there anything else you would like to share with me about your experiences as a Wikipedia editor? Thank you for taking the time to read this email. I would like you to know that I am only sharing my research with my professor and the other students in my class. If you would like me to send you a copy of my final project, I would be more than happy to! Sincerely, Stelba90 (talk) 00:59, 2 August 2016 (UTC)

Just a heads up, I have closed this AIV report primarily on the basis of this earlier edit summary. I can believe this person is upset that from their point of view, they should have got a patent but didn't. Or it's perhaps something to do with the lawsuit OddzOn Products took out when they were told Koosh balls couldn't be copyrighted. I've taken the patent owner information out entirely as I don't think it's particularly important to mention in the article, and there is the possibility he is right (per Charles Darrow and Matthew Fisher - see the ledes of both articles for why) but can't prove it, or there is the possibility he is completely wrong and just bitter about something. In any case, AGF is best. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 16:00, 5 April 2017 (UTC)
