Proposed deletion of Judith Good
[edit]The article Judith Good has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fails WP:PROF
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. shoy (reactions) 16:02, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

DYK for Mary Susan McIntosh
[edit]On 11 May 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Mary Susan McIntosh, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that sociologist, feminist, and campaigner for lesbian and gay rights Mary Susan McIntosh was deported from the U.S. in 1960 for speaking out against the House Un-American Activities Committee? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Mary Susan McIntosh. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Mary Susan McIntosh), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Sandboxing
[edit]Dear LornaMCampbell Its great that another editor is writing about Scotland. I notice in the revision history that Tara Spires-Jones that multiple articles have been written in the same article. Do you know about sandbox, silly name, but useful. You can create a link like Bio Sandbox and it keeps it on the page until it is ready to go yo article space. I thought I mention it, as it took me a four years to find them. Cool articles ;8-) scope_creep (talk) 10:54, 28 October 2018 (UTC)

I have sent you a note about a page you started
[edit]Hello, LornaMCampbell
Thank you for creating Isabel Gal.
User:Herpetogenesis, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
Good job! Interesting article about Dr. Gal and her work. (As a side note, I am myself am a descendant of Holocaust survivors.)
@Herpetogenesis: Thanks you! I came across Dr Gal's story quite by accident and it's led me down a bit of a rabbit hole. It's amazing that her 1967 research was finally vindicated in a government review published in 2020. It's also sobering to think that this issue might never have come to light, had Gal not survived the Holocaust. LornaMCampbell (talk) 13:45, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
