Dwayne helping me with Wikipedia Speedy deletion criteria information
[edit]Speedy deletion nomination of Men in computing
A tag has been placed on Men in computing requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Discussion regarding Articles I've made changes to
[edit]weight training
[edit]I've finished as much of the merger of weight training as possible, I'd love comments. Mostly what I did was take out the info that was duplicated in strength training and tried to highlight how weight training differs from the other types of strength training. Help! changes in Radio_propagation
[edit]I've done some changes there regarding reference to the inverse-square law , to explain that specifically electromagnetic propogation... Logictheo 05:44, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

Anatomist90
[edit]First of all, thank you for contacting me regarding this issue. There is an old request for deletion for the user's uploads that I have responded on. I'll give it a few days and then poke someone if it hasn't been handled by then. The user has not only been uploading dubious images; they are also actively vandalizing the English Wikipedia. The people who are uploading this don't seem to understand the policies that we use around here, but they are also not attempting to learn or work with anyone to improve their contributions. Feel free to respond to the deletion request if you'd like to. Given their actions on en-WP and Commons, I feel as though working with them/helping them is no longer a viable option. Please feel free to contact me if you ever need anything in the future. Many thanks. --Slazenger (Contact Me) 19:59, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
- I've read most of it and I'm asking that if it is in your power, delay the mass deletion another 7 days, then proceed and delete everything. I've sent back a reply asking what they mean with the phrase they used before which I didn't understand and which caused me great confusion. Thanks! Logictheo (talk) 22:10, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
- I'm rewriting this to express myself again. Thanks. I'll try to communicate and look more into this matter. Maybe these images should have been deleted a long time ago? Logictheo (talk) 22:17, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
- Based on the discussion that has been surrounding the pictures, it looks like they should have been deleted. I'm willing to wait it out a few days and see if we get any feedback. The circumstances just seem a little strange. Keep me updated! --Slazenger (Contact Me) 01:27, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

FurElise.ogg
[edit]Hey, a while ago, you asked me to release the FurElise.ogg file on Creative Commons. I think I did it, could you please check if I did it right?

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I also wasn't sure how exactly to send messages to users.
Thanks!

Help understanding Bitcoin
[edit]Yeah, if you could help explain how encryption helps make Bitcoins work, that would great. I'm a little lost on the technical side of things... Fleetham (talk) 02:16, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
- I would be happy :) . I've posted something new on your talk page.
Bitcoin history
[edit]There's a discussion underway at the Bitcoin talk page about creating a new article about the history of Bitcoin. You may be interested to help with this effort, so please take a look! Fleetham (talk) 16:02, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
Re:Josh Woodward deleted
[edit]I did notice that. I suspect he is notable, but it's borderline. I may have a deep delve to see if I can find some decent sources that others may have missed, but no promises. Deletion review may be appropriate, or if a couple of really good sources turn up, just a recreation. J Milburn (talk) 16:27, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know. I find it hard to believe that he is not notable enough for the English Wikipedia, as he is certainly the most well-know free culture musician out there. However, I won’t push towards undeleting the page. I find it sad, but it is not the first content that I uploaded and was deleted for reasons that I don’t fully understand :(. Again, many thanks for letting me know as well. Gallaecio (talk) 19:53, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
