DGG ( talk ) 08:10, 15 September 2019 (UTC)- Please take care to out the {{stub}} tag in the right place, at the end, and note that in English Wikipedia it does not take a parameter like "spider". Thanks. This article also needs more cleanup- there are some strange malfunctioning templates and two "References" sections. PamD 08:53, 15 September 2019 (UTC)

DGG ( talk ) 18:48, 15 September 2019 (UTC)translations and other advice
not all WPs are equal in quality. When an article has equivalents in several WPs, ideally one should translate from the most complete, but sometimes this is a language that is hard to work with. But usually at least the references can be copied. Even if it's something like Chinese, and even if the formatting doesn't carry over, I will sometimes just copy the rendered version from that WP, and paste it onto the bottom of the english article. Someone is likely to be able to fix it later. Another useful trick, but it has to be done after the article has been accepted, is to use the {{expand language}} tag, giving the language for the fullest of the articles. People who know that language look for those tags, and surprisingly often they do get worked on further. And, speaking of quality , be careful about using articles from the noWP. All too many of its articles have been prepared by machine translation, and they are often not even attributed. My experience is that the best ones to use are the French and the German in most cases. The problem with those two WPs is that at least in the past they have accepted very casual sourcing, giving only a general reference. We will not accept this in enWP, and additional references must be found. The best reference is a major general or biographic encycopedia, or a comprehensive academic book. Beware of the web--all other WPs as well as the enWP in earlier days--sometimes use extremely unauthoritative web references. You will be able to avoid some of the difficulty you've been having if you make sure to always have several references.
But to do this right, you need to work slower. I would never attempt to write or translate more than 2 or 3 simple articles a day, and I have years of experience at it. If it's anything complicated, I take several days so I can check my work. What you want to get at the English WP is a reputation not for doing many articles, but for doing high quality articles. It should be practical to aim for B quality at first. -- see WP:ASSESS -- even if you don't always get there, but eventually you should try for WP:GA . DGG ( talk ) 05:06, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
The article Arend Steenbergen has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. PamD 22:47, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
- fixed, minimally, but you should add some more. DGG ( talk ) 05:10, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

DGG ( talk ) 08:13, 15 September 2019 (UTC)- But please take more care in your editing. This one included a missing "n" in "Johan", an extra comma after a ref as well as the one before, and two "References" sections. I've tidied it. Other editors shouldn't be spending time clearing up your carelessness. @DGG: for info. PamD 08:47, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
- sorry about that, PamD, I should have noticed myself. DGG ( talk ) 05:06, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
- @DGG: Part of a pattern, sadly. I've done some cleanup on the other accepted articles. Thanks for your comments below. This enthusiastic translater needs indeed to slow down. They seem currently to have paused in their editing. PamD 05:20, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

Image requested templates
Hi. Why are you removing the Image requested templates?--SaskatchewanSenator (talk) 22:32, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
Because the pages have images? Liverpoolpics (talk) 11:24, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
Check whether the templates are requesting anything specific: here you removed three templates asking for photos of a company's various office buildings in China and the US, but the article only has one photo of an air conditioning unit. --Lord Belbury (talk) 11:47, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
- I noticed the same thing. When a specific image has been requested it's usually not helpful to remove the request unless that image is in the article. Edit summaries would be helpful.--SaskatchewanSenator (talk) 17:51, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
