External URLs
[edit]Please don't add external URLs (hyperlinks to content outside of wikipedia) to the body of articles. URLs should only be cited as references (between <ref></ref> tags) or in an External links section at the end of the article. I've removed the external URLs that you added to List of environmental podcasts. Happy editing! Schazjmd (talk) 15:28, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your assistance. I'm still learning, so I appreciate your correction. Lifelong learner837 (talk) 21:23, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Jason Momoa. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Schazjmd (talk) 21:07, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Josh Tickell, you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. - My apologies. As I was searching, I saw that those pages were also missing information on their latest film. I should have looked for another source like IMDB? Lifelong learner837 (talk) 21:32, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- IMDB is not a reliable source. But what my warnings are referring to is your addition of [https://commongroundfilm.org Common Ground]. Schazjmd (talk) 21:35, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, thank you for clarifying. I didn't mean to link to an inappropriate page. Lifelong learner837 (talk) 21:44, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. - I am just learning about Wikipedia. Which link or text was incorrect? Lifelong learner837 (talk) 22:13, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- Stop spamming links to creativeprocess.info all over the encyclopedia, please. That includes the copies at apple.com or anywhere else. MrOllie (talk) 22:21, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, thank you. I'll vary the sources I cite. As I'm just learning, I found it easier to search that site by name, The Guardian, and few other sources. Lifelong learner837 (talk) 22:29, 9 March 2024 (UTC)

The sentence He shared his memories of her and his father in Pang's 2022 documentary The Lost Weekend: A Love Story.
does not need another source, but it especially doesn't need one that doesn't support that precise text. I've removed it twice now, please don't add it again. Schazjmd (talk) 21:52, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- Adding references for unsourced content is very helpful. Adding more refs when content is already sourced is not helpful. Schazjmd (talk) 21:55, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
- I understand now. I had seen multiple citations at the end of some sentences, but now I understand they must have been because they had made additions to the sentence. Thank you. Lifelong learner837 (talk) 21:59, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
