User page

Are you going to make one? FellowWikipedian 20:37, 4 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Life is like a box of chocolates!
Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates/Snail-WA seems to be getting into a bit of a bog. Could you please specify which version your vote goes for? This will help to reach a consensus on which version to promote. Thanks! --Fir0002 10:14, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Building Your User Page

Hi! Do you wnat your user page to be made? Anonymous_anonymous_Have a Nice Day 21:18, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Emelianenko

[edit]

Ukraine had been used for a long time, I simply reverted a persons edit because he turned Ukraine to "Ukrainian ssr" but not Russia to "Russian SFSR". I'm pretty sure both are fine. Many biographies use simply Ukraine to avoid confusion. - Pieter_v (talk) 19:37, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Susannah Willard Johnson

[edit]

Hi, I saw your recent postings and wondered if you are a Thomas Hastings descendant or otherwise related to Susannah Willard Johnson? SBmeier (talk) 22:42, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! I'm not related to either, sorry. I'm actually of Russian descent, but I have a strong interest in American colonial history and I've read some of Mrs. Johnson's book, which I found fascinating. When I couldn't find her on Wikipedia I decided to start an article, and the rest is history, as they say. Are you related to either? --Life is like a box of chocolates (talk) 23:14, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi and thanks for the reply. Yes, Thomas Hastings is our common immigrant ancestor.SBmeier (talk) 02:23, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Jonathan Leakey has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Only mention of notability is as son of famous parents. The company he runs isn't notable enough for its own article and thus he fails WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. When you recently edited Henry Every, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Marooned (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
