Hello!
Thank you for your suggestions.
Although I'm a little confused as I used 3 official news channels and government sources to cite my draft with significant covergae on the film and 2 other sources as passing mentions.
Significant coverage-
1. https://culture.gov.az/en/heydar-aliyev/15786
2. https://en.apa.az/cop29/film-dedicated-to-cop29-dialogues-was-screened-450512
3. https://filmfesttucson.org/films/on-melting-snow/
Passing mentions-
1. https://www.azernews.az/nation/232838.html
2. https://suindependent.com/red-rock-film-festival-returns-in-september/
Can you please guide me little here please? Lichi.laaj (talk) 13:30, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

So despite the above sources coming from respective official agencies, they still don't qualify for Notability? Lichi.laaj (talk) 14:33, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

Mojtaba Bahadori moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Mojtaba Bahadori, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello!
Thank you for the comment. I am new to this space so forgive my naivity.
To give you a background of my edits, I always wanted to learn to edit wikipedia articles as they provide a lot of value to the public. Being a budding filmmaker myself, I attended a film festival recently where Moj's film won the climate award. The film and the person both inspired me a lot that I took an interview with him and then started writing about it.
There is absolutely no financial matter involved in this. I'm solely doing this out of my experience of cinema, and would love to add more content as I find more cinematic masterpieces.
I do believe he and his film deserve to be out there.
If you still think there is any violation done from my side, please let me know, I would really like to learn and improve my future edits. And also if you can show me the right way to write about such people and films, as I tried my best to use notable news sources for the citations.
Looking forward. :) Lichi.laaj (talk) 21:07, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
