Chloroform - thanks
[edit]Hi LeticiaLL, thanks for catching the error in the article. I traced down a dubious edit and restored the lead to what was previously. S0091 (talk) 10:57, 18 January 2020 (UTC)

CH2I2
[edit]CH2I2
[edit]Its colorless. Impure samples often appear colored, but CH2I2. C2F4 is stable. It does tend to polymerize, but the C2F4 is a very happy molecule. The language describing compounds can be precise in ways that are not immediately obvious. --Smokefoot (talk) 12:45, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
Are you American? LeticiaLL (talk) 13:13, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
1,1,1-Trichloroacetone
[edit]Congratulations on making your first article: 1,1,1-Trichloroacetone. I have added to the chembox, added a project to the talk page, linked it from Wikidata, and made a lower case redirect. Do you have some extra knowledge on C2F2? Hhas it been made as a liquid or solid? (I am making list of gases which would include this if it was stable and a gas.) Graeme Bartlett (talk) 05:23, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
If difluoroacetylene was stable, it would be a gas LeticiaLL (talk) 11:51, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
National varieties of English
[edit]Hello. In a recent edit to the page Styrene, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. DMacks (talk) 11:10, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
I wrote the sentence there. It was colourless when I wrote there. LeticiaLL (talk) 11:17, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
- I'm talking about this edit involving polymerize/polymerise. The styrene article has been consistently US-English since many years before your account existed. The standard is that each article should be self-consistent (see the guideline I linked above). It doesn't matter who writes each sentence in it. But each article's standard is set when the article is created. So 1,1,1-Trichloroacetone (thanks for creating it!) will consistently use the UK spellings because that's how it started, no matter who adds to it. DMacks (talk) 11:46, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
I did not know that. Thanks for informing me LeticiaLL (talk) 11:47, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
- You're welcome! Always glad to have new chemistry editors around! DMacks (talk) 11:49, 15 August 2020 (UTC)
Chloromethanol moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Chloromethanol, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Disambiguation link notification for October 23
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Doubts Even Here, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Stephen Morris. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:14, 23 October 2020 (UTC)

[edit]WP:Edit warring
[edit]Read WP:Edit warring. If you continue to edit war over the Bisexuality and Pansexuality articles, you will be reported and very likely WP:Blocked. We follow what the literature states with WP:Due weight. There is more than one definition of bisexuality. Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 23:22, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
Bisexuality is attraction REGARDLESS of gender and sex. It will always be that way. I also edit chemistry pages, why are you threatening me with blocking? LeticiaLL (talk) 23:35, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- You state that, and yet sources give different definitions. They also define pansexuality the same exact way that you are defining bisexuality. This 2015 "Sexuality Now: Embracing Diversity" source, from Cengage Learning, states, "Pansexuality is also sometimes included under the definition of bisexuality, since pansexuality rejects the gender binary and encompasses romantic or sexual attractions to all gender identities." How do you reconcile that? Do you see bisexuality and pansexuality as different or the same? Regardless of what you think, we go by what the literature states, not what a single editor states. I don't see what you editing chemistry pages has to do with this. The above post by me is not a threat; it's a warning. And I warned you because you are being disruptive. Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 23:42, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- I got my answer here about whether you consider the two to be the same. That is your personal opinion. Others disagree, despite one definition for bisexuality being "regardless of gender." Flyer22 Frozen (talk) 23:48, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
"others disagree"? Who? Other bisexuals agree with the gender blindness of bisexuality. I won't argue with such a person like you. You're literally threatening me. Don't ever write me again. LeticiaLL (talk) 00:05, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
Concern regarding Draft:Chloromethanol
[edit]Hello, LeticiaLL. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Chloromethanol, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Draft space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for article space.
If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion under CSD G13. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request userfication of the content if it meets requirements.
If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available here.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 16:42, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
The article Zdeněk Adamec (Czech student) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While incredibly insane, clearly a case of WP:BIO1E.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Onel5969 TT me 15:22, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
DS alert
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in the topics of Kurds and Kurdistan, broadly construed. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
You have used the term Terrorist for Abdullah Öcalan whiteout a proper intextattribution which is against WP:TERRORIST and maybe also against the Ruling of the ArbCom Case about Kurds and Kurdistan which includes General Sanctions as well as Standard Discretionary Sanctions about which you therefore have been notified. I suggest you adapt these edits, if not, I will.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 17:31, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

Edit warring at List of political self-immolations
[edit]Hello User:LeticiaLL. You've been warned for edit warring per a complaint at the noticeboard. You are risking a block if you revert the article again without first getting a consensus in your favor on the article talk page. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 01:00, 25 March 2021 (UTC)

Accuracy and Objectiveness
[edit]As funny as what you had edited the page Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to be, an encyclopaedia must be neutral and objective, so I have reverted the edits made. Be aware if you continue it will down to admins to deal with. An encyclopaedia is used by everyone for objective and accurate information and making jokes does not fall under this.
