Adriano
Hi! I semi-protected the page for a week. I started a discussion in the article's talk page, so you and the other users can discuss Adriano's squad number. --Carioca (talk) 18:33, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Olympikus
The article Olympikus has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- not clear how this is notable
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RadioFan (talk) 00:28, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (File:Vixen JLoA4.jpg)
Thanks for uploading File:Vixen JLoA4.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:43, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
Ronald Raymond
I have reversed your changes to Firestorm (comics), Firestorm (Jason Rusch), Firestorm (Ronald Raymond) and List of Justice League members. Most common name does not apply to aliases, "Ronnie" is an alias, Ronald is the correct form. If you have any questions you can post them on my discussion page. --Xero (talk) 20:04, 21 August 2009 (UTC)
- Most common names doesen't apply to alias? MWhat about "Barry" Allen, "Hal" Jordan, "Johnny" Storm, "Ben" Grimm... Man, I really think you're a little confused. Cheers —Lesfer (t/c/@) 01:17, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
- Those four examples are all unique circumstances where the alias was used exclusively since the point of that characters creation. They do not apply here since the most common usage of his name from point of creation is Ronald Raymond, followed by Ronnie, and Ron. I've also noticed that these seem to be the only edits you've made for the past two days, and that your edits before that using this account have been extremely sporadic. I am willing to assume good faith here, but just by checking your contributions and block history I can see that you were blocked for a 3RR violation in 2006. I have created a topic on the Firestorm (Ronald Raymond) discussion page here where we can discuss this civilly. --Xero (talk) 11:37, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
- Unique circumstances? Who is saying that? You? So, this is opinion, right? Now regarding my edits... what's the problem about being sporadic? I don't get your point. And I won't even comment on this 3RR block, three years ago because it was based on a mistake commited by a incompetent administrator. I'm sorry I can't return the favor and try to point all your mistakes over here, Basique, as you had your logs erased, right? ;) But that's not really important. Well, after mentioning "sporadic edits" and "3RR blocks" I'm glad you want to discuss the issue on a civil basis, how nice of you. But until we have reached a consensus, we keep the original edits, ok? You don't change and then propose a discussion, that's not how it works. Cheers —Lesfer (t/c/@) 20:16, 23 August 2009 (UTC
- All my logs as Basique are accessible hence the link on my discussion page, that in fact is why it's there. Please let me know if the fact that english is your second language may be preventing you from understanding what it is I am saying. I'm curious Lesfer were these actions at the DC Database Project which resulted in this also due to an "incompetent moderator"? --Xero (talk) 21:02, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
Hahaha! Nice try, bro! 2007?? Wow! That's a loooong time to keep personal grudges. It was a nice try, even though DC Database is not Wiki. My time of animosities over ever are way behind, Basi-Buddy-boy. I suggest you do the same, man. This is bad for your soul. Try to be friendly! It's not hard, c'mon! I wish you only the best, kisses and cheers —Lesfer (t/c/@) 21:12, 23 August 2009 (UTC)
- My user name is Xero, please be sure to remember that and use it whenever you reply to me. Oh and Lesfer I think bad behavior on a sister wiki is highly relevant. --Xero (talk) 21:20, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi. Can you join this discussion in order to offer us your thoughts? Some instructions
Hi there LESFER (or should i say "OLÁ"), VASCO from Portugal here,
As i see everybody is writing in English in your talk page, even your countryman, and since your English is perfect, i'll do the same:
As you did in Willian Lanes de Lima, please do not correct (for the bad) the links of player positions and sport related to subject, it creates re-directs which are mere substitutes to the "main thing"...
Here is an intensive course on the links (at least the most important) on playing positions of Association football (and this is another error you made, it's not soccer, i thought your way until a couple of months too): the correct link to GOALKEEPER is Goalkeeper (association football), the DEFENDERS are Defender (association football)#Centre back or Defender (association football)#Full back; for general MIDFIELDERS only just that, midfielders, to be more specific Midfielder#Defensive midfielder, Midfielder#Centre midfielder or Midfielder#Attacking midfielder and Midfielder#Winger; to ATTACKERS it's Forward (association football) - this works for both forwards and strikers, and Striker (association football)#Centre forward for the likes of Mário Jardel, Julio Salinas, Peter Crouch, Jan Koller, etc, etc. I think i got them all.
For the rest in LIMA's article, you are correct, the player did not move to Flamengo; i added that he does not belong to Betis anymore also.
Keep up the good work, bom fim-de-semana,
--Vasco Amaral (talk) 20:51, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
Hello Lesfer! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 5 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 327 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- José Ufarte - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Jordan da Costa - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

File source problem with File:RiodeJaneiro city coatofarms.png
Thank you for uploading File:RiodeJaneiro city coatofarms.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:51, 16 May 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 22:51, 16 May 2010 (UTC)

I have seen that you edited some volleyball articles. Some players articles, most of them looks outdated. I would like to improve players by country. Could you please choose a country to contribute with? Please take a look on Yekaterina Gamova, Hélia Souza, Serena Ortolani and Kenia Carcaces for a model to follow. Please can you please improve some volleyball players with infobox and some addons? References are very important. Let me know. Oscar987 21:54, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Huntress Wayne.JPG
Thank you for uploading File:Huntress Wayne.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Greb (talk) 16:48, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

The article FIFA Clubs of the 20th Century has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Not a notable award, or whatever it's supposed to be. Appears to fail WP:GNG.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 13:04, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
Nomination of FIFA Club of the Century for deletion
A discussion is taking place as to whether the article FIFA Club of the Century is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/FIFA Club of the Century until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Ilikeeatingwaffles (talk) 09:21, 8 September 2011 (UTC)
The article Black Hand (comics) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- The fictional character does not meet the general notability guideline and, without reception and significance in reliable secondary sources independent of the subject, the topic of the article is not suitable for Wikipedia as a stand-alone article since it falls into WP:IINFO.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

Hello!
My name is Victor and I work with the Wikimedia Foundation, the non-profit organization that supports Wikipedia. We're chronicling the inspiring stories from the Wikipedia community around the world, including those from readers, editors, and donors. Stories are absolutely essential for any non-profit to persuade new people to support the cause, and we know the vast network of people who use Wikipedia have so much to share. It's important to convey the incredible diversity of people who've come to rely upon Wikipedia every day.
I'd really like the opportunity to interview you to tell your story, with the possibility of using it in our materials, on our community websites, or as part of this year’s fundraiser to encourage others to support Wikipedia.
I will be in Rio de Janeiro on the 6th, 7th and 8th of March 2012, and i'll be attending:
http://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikip%C3%A9dia:Encontros/WikiRio_8.0
I'm hoping you will elaborate on your story with me. I apologize for any mis-translation in this message (perhaps it might inspire a laugh?) I am using Google-translate at the moment, but plan to have translators available when we are in Brazil.
Please let me know if you're inclined to take part in the Wikipedia Stories Project!
Thank you,

Hello,
I am nominating the page as a FA through the system. Since you seem to be the editor with the most edits in the article (who isn't banned), I have to notify you.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
