[edit]You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here.
Please take a moment to either create a new account, or request a username change of your current account here. The new username that you choose must represent you as an individual person, and it must comply with Wikipedia's username policy.- To create a new account with a different username, simply log out of this account and then click here to make a new one.
- If you prefer to change the username on this account, you may do so by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page (this page):
{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
.
Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken or in use by another account. You can go here to search and see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is available to be taken.
Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it also identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87", but not "SEO Manager at XYZ Company".
Appeals: If your username does not represent a group, organization, website, or other entity described above, and if you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
.

Hello Leonard Gauthier. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Leonard Gauthier. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Leonard Gauthier|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 09:21, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- I am not getting paid to edit. The page I am writing is because I have big interest in this. My MBA thesis at Tsinghua University was with a similar topic. I am really passionate about this. I also want to help editing pages related to business and management knowledge but Wikipedia doesn't seem to have a filter about them, so the recommended pages are about universities, people, institutions etc. I will be helping with those a little but I am more interested in management theories, digital transformation, enterprise engineering, reengineering, auditing, staff training and retraining program principles, cost and capacity management. I am a researcher in those areas. That's why I admire Taylor, Henry Towne, Deming, Hammer and Champy and their book about business process reengineering.
- I will not edit anything until I get a reply or approval to edit. I hope everything is ok. If there is anything else please feel free to message me Leonard Gauthier (talk) 10:51, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
- If you're not compensated in any manner and/or not editing as part of your job duties, okay. 331dot (talk) 12:52, 4 October 2023 (UTC)
Final warning for refspamming/undeclared COI
[edit]You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. OhNoitsJamie Talk 11:44, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
- Hello. Sorry if it seemed like spam. I want to explain my train of thought
- I added:
- In management, a product is an object that an industrial enterprise alters into a product that satisfies a client's demands. The products are both the goods and services offered by the industrial enterprise.
- Because:
- The idea behind this is that looking at the definition of the word "Product" it has two classifications - goods and services. Both good and services are the only two types of product, its two dimensions. Also from a management point of view, they are clearly distinguishable dimensions. The way to differentiate them is to look at the enterprise perspective. When we have goods, that means that the enterprise has bought the raw materials (initial object state) from which it performs some processes and creates the final product-good. The enterprise can buy a broken laptop as initial object state and fix it and offer it to sell it and that is its good as well. But when we have services the client brings his broken laptop and the enterprise fixes it. The initial object state is not the property of the enterprise so this is a service. Machining, processing, painting, renting... all of those are services because the enterprise does not own the initial object state while an engine manufacturing, el. equipment manufacturing, etc. are goods because the enterprise has bought the raw materials and own the object through out.
- I am writing it in the section TALK of the page. I thought it is ok to write it and someone to review it. Leonard Gauthier (talk) 11:56, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
- It is my topic of research and I defended my dissertation at Tsinghua University regarding this area, so I thought adding the management perspective on the page about Product (business) could have been helpful. Leonard Gauthier (talk) 11:58, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
- It's pretty obvious that you have a COI with one or more authors; if you post a reference to them again, you will be blocked. OhNoitsJamie Talk 12:04, 9 October 2023 (UTC)

Vitalized wine moved to draftspace; zero reliable sources
[edit]Please read WP:RS; your article has zero reliable sources to indicate how this topic is notable, and there no credible sources to indicate that it is anything but pseudoscience. OhNoitsJamie Talk 15:11, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you, I will read it! It is patented technology. Have a good day Leonard Gauthier (talk) 15:17, 9 October 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Business Model Ontology
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Business Model Ontology requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://itfes.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Business-Model-Ontology-1.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - I am one of the authors in the book mentioned to be copyright infringement: https://itfes.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Business-Model-Ontology-1.pdf Leonard Gauthier (talk) 06:49, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, we didn't know that: you should have declared it when creating the draft. Although even then, it is not clear that your co-author agreed to have their work published at Wikipedia, when the PDF says that the text is copyrighted and that written permission is required to reproduce it.
- Please read and follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest before making any further edits related to your work. Belbury (talk) 07:47, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- Belbury (talk, a copyright violation is a copyright violation even if the COI were declared. - I sent an email to Wikipedia permission email to explain the situation. I can provide the declaration of allowing Wikipedia to use those texts from both my name and from ITFES. This is not a problem. Could you tell me what exactly I need to do to provide the necessary information for Wikipedia to continue reinstate and continue reviewing the Draft:Business Model Ontology. I will ensure that all necessary declarations are provided. I am and will work on all issues.
- Just for information, there was a problem with one William Deming photography, and I contacted the Deming Institute to allow us to upload their photo in Wikipedia. Today they said this:
- "Title of email: Permission to use a photo of Dr. Deming
- To: Trifon Stefanov
- Tue 10/10/2023 8:34 PM
- Hi Trifon,
- Thank you for reaching out to us at The W. Edwards Deming Institute. We are happy to grant permission for the use of the attached photo for your Wikipedia article on Business Model Ontology. We ask that you please include the following verbiage under the photo: Photo courtesy of The W. Edwards Deming Institute®.
- We would love to see the finished article!
- Thank you again for your interest in the Deming Institute. You can help us get the word out and spread Dr. Deming's philosophy by visiting our social media sites and sharing them with friends and colleagues. "
- I hope to receive your guidance in solving the issue with Draft:Business Model Ontology and hopefully make a good article that can contribute to the enrichment of Wikipedia.
- Kind regards, Leonard Gauthier (talk) 11:41, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
- It is my mistake. I didn't consider stating this. Sorry.
- I mentioned it to user: 331dot on my talk page as there was some discussion about this.
- Also, because I read the concerns of Jimfbleak, I just want to say that I am not the creator of this knowledge. I just made a meta-analysis and comparison of it with another knowledge in the mentioned book. So I am not the creator of the theory of BMO. I know that saying this in a talk page has no merit, but I want to clarify it here first.
- I read through the whole Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials and I understand that I should write an email to "permission wikipedia" and state that I am giving permission for the texts. I will do so now.
- I am sorry about the confusion. I am trying to contribute to wikipedia, but it is sometimes difficult as many such topics are easily overlooked by novice contributors like me. I will do my best Leonard Gauthier (talk) 08:57, 11 October 2023 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Industrial Cognition Tree.png
