Speedy deletion nomination of Still love
[edit]A tag has been placed on Still love, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Moreover, please add more verifiable sources, not only 3rd party sources. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. HalfShadow 17:57, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of I love America
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on I love America requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. — Timneu22 · talk 18:00, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

- Hi. Before you write any more articles, please read some of the links in the Welcome paragraph above, particularly WP:Your first article. Articles about albums need to have more than just a track listing, and they need to establish notability, which means showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." That means an article about an album is unlikely to be acceptable before it is released - see WP:Notability (music), in particular WP:NALBUMS. You can find more advice abut writing album articles at Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums. JohnCD (talk) 18:19, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
- Also, if these are your own albums you should not be writing about them. Wikipedia is not for self-promotion - see the guidelines on WP:Conflict of interest and WP:Autobiography. JohnCD (talk) 18:23, 8 December 2010 (UTC)
