[edit]Hello, I'm BilCat. I noticed that you recently removed content from M249 light machine gun without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. - Gave explanation. Summary - content citation removed due not mentioning M249. check archived copy of deleted citation. Legionnairez (talk) 04:16, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
- You removed a lot of text from several sections, which didn't your edit summary about paratroopers didn't mention. Please check to make sure you didn't remove more than you intended to. Thanks. BilCat (talk) 04:26, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
- You are mistaken sir. I combine development and operational history. no content beside the citation i deleted was removed Legionnairez (talk) 04:28, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
- You didn't say that part in your edit summary. Anyway, why? What's wrong with having two sections? BilCat (talk) 04:37, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
- My first intent was to only change PARA to Para. Not an acronym. Then decided to merge sections that speak about weapon’s history. A simple paraphrase on first paragraph. I followed your instructions and left a message on talk page Legionnairez (talk) 04:39, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
- I made separate individual edits. For PARA to Para. Merge development history with operational history. Paraphrasing.
- I did not delete citations this time. i want you to review my changes. See if you approve. i want to remove the citation I removed bc it doesnt cover M249. shall i proceed? Legionnairez (talk) 06:28, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
