Welcome
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. To find out more about how to make useful contributions, take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. See WP:N for an explanation of what that means. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Follow the links below to learn more:
- To find out more about creating articles, read the introduction, tutorial, and guide to creating your first article.
- Do not write articles about yourself, your band, or your best friend - that's a conflict of interest.
- For experiments, please use the sandbox.
Elbo is an interesting start for an article, but you need to give some source for the information - see the link above. Sounds as if it might come from Herodotus? JohnCD 10:49, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
You're welcome. Once you had added the reference it would have been OK for you to remove the "unreferenced" tag; I've done it anyway. JohnCD (talk) 12:51, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free media (Image:Marymount.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Marymount.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 20:37, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Hey there Leecharleswalker, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:Leecharleswalker. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.
- See a log of files removed today here.
- Shut off the bot here.
- Report errors here.
Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 05:01, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Menachem Begin, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - Right; and next you're gonna tell me that in 1977 by some weird calendar, the month of June had 222 days... Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 07:37, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
obviously that was a typographical error Leecharleswalker (talk) 07:40, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
- and actually, that's all I saw. By the way, I never called anyone a terrorist. Your beef is with those who use the word or not. Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 07:41, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
Ok then if all you saw is the 222 june then you were quite right to revert it. I thought you reverted for a different reason Leecharleswalker (talk) 07:44, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
