Hey!
I was surprised that you actually removed those very few recent edits of mine in the Kadazan article. The reversion seems irrelevant to me. I could not see any mistake in my recent edits? And how was it not constructive? I'd do a deep research before I make an edit in any article. Do admins necessarily watch on articles and see if there are small mistakes of edits like grammars etc? Kind of curious..
Mining Industry Human Resources Council - revert you just made
Good day,
I'm a communications coordinator for the Mining Industry Human Resources Council. We are a not-for-profit organization located in Kanata, Ontario, Canada.
Our communications team is currently in the process of revitalizing our own website, and as such I thought it would be a good idea to update our Wikipedia page to better reflect our programs / content to better serve our members.
I had added an infobox to our page with some of our key info, and you just reverted it on the basis that it appeared promotional.
My intention is not to advertise, but to update our content so as to not mislead our members or others interested - much of the information on our Wikipedia page is outdated, and I want our page to be the best possible reflection of our organization.
If you could undo your change, I would greatly appreciate it.
Kind Regards,
Alex — Preceding unsigned comment added by Parsonsalexc (talk • contribs)

Alan Brown
As you may realise I am a newcomer to this page, I inserted the information re Alan Brown as fact he was born in Consett Durham and came to Corbridge to live when his father William Brown found work as a painter and decorator in the village they lived in St Helens Street and later Trinity Terrace
Alan made his debut for Corbridge United as a 15 year old in a 7-2 win at Matfen in a Prudhoe & District league game and was a regular in what was a good side, he played his last game for the club in a game against Acomb Welfare.
Alan signed for Spen Black & White a North Durham Northern Alliance side and it was from there he joined Huddersfield Town, Brown was a good all rounder with athletics and Golf and still hold athletic records at the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Hexham which is three miles from Corbridge, Alan Brown's parents are buried at Corbridge opposite my own grandparents.
In 1995 I spoke with Alan Brown and he agreed to a small written interview about his time playing for Corbridge however in a matter of weeks I had a letter from his son Ian advising he was unable to do it due to his failing health and he passed away the following March. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Corbridge1958 (talk • contribs) 19:58, 22 July 2018 (UTC)

Berberis
Actually, you may have made a mistake in leaving the template message on my talk page. My edit reverted an edit by an IP user who has been adding similar unsourced and questionable additions to similar articles. I assume you were using Huggle and clicked the revert for the previous edit just as my edit came up. It can happen. As information. Donner60 (talk) 22:14, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
- I have amended this to say it may have been a mistake. I must say on further thought that although the edits are unsourced, I noticed in one article that they may be supported by other text, even if the data is not quite recent So this may be my mistake after all. However, it was due to a deletion rather than an addition which is why I questioned your use of a template about adding unsourced information. I am always willing to have mistakes pointed out to me and to reconsider my edits, or leave changes to them, if I have made a mistake or overlooked something. The template, rather than the intended message, may have thrown me off if it was your intention to call a possible error to my attention. I will look at this series of my edits now and see if they are valid. If not, or if they are questionable, I will strike the message on the user's talk page. If that is true, I thank you for alerting me, even if indirectly. Donner60 (talk) 22:37, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
- As it turns out, none of my reverts resulted in messages on the user's talk page. Other editors have left messages with respect to these same sorts of edits. Nonetheless, in at least two of the three articles I looked at there is some support later in the article. But the user did not refer to it. Also, the edit summary "added new information" did not help because it was not entirely new and was based on something later in the article. Whether it should have been added to the introduction is another question. So this turns out to be an unusually complicated circumstance. Sorry for going on at length about it. I am going to leave a message for the user about why the reverts were made by various editors (no reference; inadequate and unintentionally misleading edit summary). Level 4 warnings are on the talk page and are not really reserved. Hopefully, this will get straightened out satisfactorily. Thanks for your part in it. Donner60 (talk) 22:50, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
Talk page mention; reply to your question on my talk page
I think this is concluded and I don't want to waste your time on this after this explanation. You reverted an edit I made that reverted an IP edit to Berberis (above). I rolled that back because I am sure you intended to revert the edit that I reverted. I noted that to you. Upon further examination, I thought the user might be more clueless than disruptive. I thought there might be support for at least some of the edits in that other articles, that this would not have been evident in Huggle and that the user's edit summaries were misleading which added to the problem. I wanted to be fair to the user and put this on his edit page since the user was at level 4. I noted that your edit (inadvertently) caused me to think further about it. I also noted the handling to you above and that was no doubt unnecessary. Two other editors commented on the user's talk page that the edits to that and other articls appeared to be disruptive. One noted that another editor and Cluebot had reported the user. (No block was made, however.) In any event, your involvement was minimal and were it not for the now obsolete comments above I would not have mentioned or pinged you. I probably should not have made, or at least continued, the above thread in detail. In conclusion, I may have been trying to overly fair to the user and made a bit of a tempest in a teapot of it. I hope we can collaborate on more productive matters in the future. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 21:41, 29 July 2018 (UTC)

Hello. I was notified that I was vandalizing the above page. I was not. i was merely adding back infomration, that I as someone who needs to/wants to look up information about said album (in this case), would llike to see there. I would like to know where when and how adding useful information to a page that was (in my eyes) wrongfully deleted is considered vandalism. Thank you. Tapio1994 (talk) 14:22, 22 August 2018 (UTC)

Douglas Biklen, American Educator
Thanks for assuring that Dean Douglas Biklen is on for his Harvard and NYS office debate (at Governor's -Andrew Cuomo and Lt. Governor's races) on facilitated communication, related to sexual assault cases in courts today. I apologize for the rough draft online, but I was not planning to pull out 20 or more years of Doug's academic publications yesterday (let alone a life of 70 years)! If you leave the draft on for a few days, I will be able to add, edit and polish; the Janicki and Schwartz groups are involved in other journals (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities department only), and they can also discuss at international societal gates (e.g., American Society for Public Administration). If they can find the name of the Dean, the university in their state, or the management personnel responsible nationally and internationally, in addition to often mid-level in the state, that are coming back in to deal From Snakepits to Cash Cows (Castellani, 2006, "international individual and family support" as feeder programs to high-priced services was found within the book; federal IFSPs in special education). Paul Castellani and I know both men from the 1970s (Gov. Mario Cuomo Administration, Family of New York), so I assume it is a "competitive thing", and neither expected Paul or I were expected to be in the university sectors as teaching, research and public policy. Now, when I transfer fields, I am with Gang Chen starting with Public Administration and Disability (Racino, 2014) on amazon.com. ````Julie Ann Racino, Wiki Editor, "Private Chat", 2018```` — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2604:6000:A447:6300:7902:92C5:4C2D:8949 (talk) 20:12, 29 August 2018 (UTC)

If living through an event, being a living eyewitness, is not a "credible" source, what is? How can citing some other source, by someone who may or may not have been there, be any more credible? Hey LakeSide,
I've made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement and I don't expect to be forgiven. I'm simply here to apologize. So what we came across that day on the woods was obviously unplanned and the reactions you saw on tape were raw, they were unfiltered. None of us knew how to react or how to feel. I should have never posted the video. I should have put the cameras down, and stopped recording what we were going through. There's a lot of things I should have done differently, but I didn't, and for that from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry. I want to apologize to the internet, I want to apologize to anyone who's seen the video, I want to apologize to anyone who has been affected or touched by mental illness, or depression, or suicide. But, most importantly, I want to apologize to the victim and his family. For, my fans, who are defending my actions, please don't, they do not deserve to be defended. The goal of my content is always to entertain, to push the boundaries, to be all inclusive and in the world I live in I share almost everything I do. The intent is never to be heartless, cruel, or malicious. Like I said, I made a huge mistake, I don't expect to be forgiven, I'm just here to apologize. I'm ashamed of myself. I'm disappointed in myself, and I promise to be better. I will be better, thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Idon'tknowmanwhattocallthis (talk • contribs) 17:13, 11 September 2018 (UTC)

your delete
Good afternoon,
I am new to Wikipedia and perhaps that shows. However, I am unclear why the historical paragraph that I added to Garner Iowa was deleted. The information was taken from a source that I quoted. The information's historical in nature, and was not an attempt to bring attention to myself. In my opinion the text you deleted was interesting to anyone who wants to know about the history of Garner, and/or has or does live there and knows the areas to which I made reference.
If you don't mind, a bit more clarification will help me understand your objections. Thank you for your reply,

Hey just wanted to apologise for the non-constructive edit on the Tommy Gallacher page. I am a regular contributor, you could call me the father of the Tommy Gallacher article, I just haven't logged on because I'm on a library computer. I occasionally pop on to have a re-read of what has been written or added and make revisions here and there. The sentence I think should have the name of Tommy Gallacher's father Patsy in it, maybe where I put it or not, but I realise, it's in the 'personal life' section anyway and it isn't like the Tommy Gallacher's article is book to read and needs multiple mentions of information that's already expressed elsewhere. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.83.93.22 (talk) 13:48, 1 October 2018 (UTC)

You reverted my edit earlier today. The date was correct up to 10:24 on 10th October

There was no authority quoted for the change, so I don't suppose it was intentional.
I would appreciate your assistance in stopping the propagation of this error. It has already got into the Guardian's printed obituary from which it cannot be recalled, and which wikipedant presumably used as his authority to revert the correct to the incorrect date - wikipedia is quoting it's own error, echoed back again. I had intended to put up the photo I have taken of her birth-certificate as ref, but when I attempted it I was totally unclear whether it would be taken down again as not copyright. This is such a silly thing to have to doing at this time when we are dealing with her death. Please would you do what you can to stop it happening again. I am going to assume that the messages you left are automated, as if either human intelligence or empathy had been involved you presumably would not have splashed about accusations of what are clearly crimes within this anthropological niche.
If you look at the circumstances you will see that I did not, as your messages suggest, add original research, I corrected an obvious unsourced change made by the unidentified IP address 82.27.58.195 to a page which you presumably would have thought correctly sourced. I am going to guess that some automated process identified that a change had been made without a citation, and that you check it's output and reverted the edit without checking the underlying facts, despite my commment explaining the situation - so far not particularly surprising, though hardly uninspiring. I would have appreciated though, when the situation had been pointed out to you in my response if you had :
1/ Before slapping your second missive on my page, checked whether I had indeed committed the sin of original research - it seems to me that that is to be attributed to 82.27.58.195.
2/ Responded - optionally with the politeness and humour which you advertise - to my request as a newcomer that you help me to ensure that the correct version should stick.
I will not be removing your messages on my talk page, as I don't know or understand the conventions here. I have no idea whether either their presence or their removal would be problematic to me if I decided to contribute to any further articles - which based on this experience I am disinclined to do.
Anyhow - I have had a kind offer to keep the article correct, which I think I will accept, and leave you to remove your messages from my page if you think it appropriate.
