You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Mahinda Rajapaksa. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue.

In particular the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Editors violating the rule will usually be blocked for 24 hours for a first incident.
  3. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording, and content that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. ⋙–Berean–Hunter—► ((⊕)) 04:41, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

Actually you should have warned the actual vandal instead of me, if you are trying to do the justice . First look at the the article history and check who is really doing disruptive editing and damaging the article. User:Blackknight12 is using his sock accounts User:Garuda92, User:Magnocrusher2007 etc. to post his personal ideas about Sri Lankan president. User:Blackknight12 should have discussed those issues in the talk page of Mahinda Rajapaksa article before adding loads of new sections to this article. It is a semi protected article and that's why he is using his sock accounts to add controversial content to this article. When a LTTE supporter scream out various allegations against Sri Lankan president, it doesn't mean that they should be included in this article. I am surprised at your move to revert my last edit in this article because Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons states "Editors must take particular care when adding information about living persons to any Wikipedia page." and all the edits which were reverted by me violated Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Please reconsider to correct the mistake done by you.Thank you. --LahiruG (talk) 05:46, 18 January 2011 (UTC)
I didn't see either one of you using the talkpage. If you believe he is a sockpuppet, you should open a case at WP:SPI. If that proves to be the case then I'll be happy to strike my warning to you. If I have erred, I apologize.

Dispute resolution

Please join in on this dispute resolution, Talk:Mahinda Rajapaksa#Nepotism and Alleged War Crimes. Thanks--Blackknight12 (talk) 15:12, 18 January 2011 (UTC)

You should have done it earlier, before adding various allegations against Sri Lankan president in his article. I believe the controversial content should be removed before such a dispute resolution. It is the proper way of doing such a dispute resolution. -- LahiruG (talk) 03:47, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
I didn't add them, I only expanded on them, and if you thought it was or is controversial you should have done it in the first place. Also be Civil and don't make this about any personal attacks. The discussion is still open for you to add. Take care--Blackknight12 (talk) 09:42, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for your valuable advices. I have learnt a lot about Civil editing from your edits in Wikipedia. I think this edit is one of the all-time best civil edits in the history of Wikipedia. For your information, this is a Sockpuppet investigation, and NOT a personal attack. If you don't have a proper idea about personal attacks in Wikipedia , please read this article and improve your knowledge. Be careful with your childish behavior in Wikipedia. Take care. -- LahiruG (talk) 06:44, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Kapila Gunasekara requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Deflagro (talk) 05:17, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
