Hi, welcome to Wikipedia. Please don't copy and paste material from other websites. Copyright violations can get Wikipedia shut down. Please feel free to right articles in your own words. RickK 07:12, Jan 6, 2005 (UTC)
Hello
[edit]Hi, I just noticed that you are from Bhopal. Just dropped by to let you know that there is a Wikipedia:Notice board for India-related topics. utcursch | talk 13:23, Mar 30, 2005 (UTC)
by country?
[edit]Hi there! I found your userpage classified in India - however, that isn't actually a category so it doesn't quite work that way. Please add your information to Wikipedia:Wikipedians/India instead.10:43, May 17, 2005 (UTC)
Thanks
[edit]I have done that.burdak 16:44, 18 May 2005 (UTC)
Copyright problems?
[edit]I note that you created Banasthali Vidyapeeth by copying from http://www.aimnact.org/ABOUT%20US.htm. Did you get permission to do that? --Carnildo 05:46, 21 May 2005 (UTC)
- Matter is from booklet published, Banasthali Vidyapith, Prospectus 2005-06. There is no violation of copyright.burdak 04:57, 22 May 2005 (UTC)
- You've gotten permission to submit the text under the GFDL license? Simple permission to copy the text is not enough. --Carnildo 21:14, 22 May 2005 (UTC)
- Well, if the text is taken from a booklet, then it is still copyright violation. Copyright laws apply to any text, not just those on the web. Unless the author has given specific permission for the text to be used and modified according to the GFDL license, the text cannot be on Wikipedia. HTH! Radiant_* 07:28, May 23, 2005 (UTC)

- Hi Burgundavia !
The image of Image:Baldev Ram Mirdha.jpg has been taken from a book published and widely circulated in Jaipur. It was scanned and reduced in size to upload in Wikipedia. It is a free image used for knowledge.burdak 05:40, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, copyright doesn't work that way. If we don't have a specific release from the photographer, it is copyright, and thus unusable on Wikipedia. So to confirm, did you you take any of the pictures you list on your user page os Free GNU images? Burgundavia (✈ take a flight?) 12:38, May 28, 2005 (UTC)
- Yes most of the pictures on my user page were taken by me. Persons who died long back could not be photographed so the available image in books have been taken. burdak 16:39, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
- For those that were taken by you, they can be tagged as you wish. For those that were not, tag them as {{fairuse}} unless you known they are old enough to be public domain (100+ years) Burgundavia (✈ take a flight?) 16:57, May 28, 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks Burgundavia I have tagged all images on my user page. burdak 06:40, 29 May 2005 (UTC)
