Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited PNR Metro Commuter Line, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Naga. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

December 2021

[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! HiwilmsTalk 09:25, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Please do not bring back the "station layout" section on all railway station articles. This was already removed back in 2019 as per Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Trains/Archive:_2019#RfC_about_station_layouts_and_exits. Thank you. HiwilmsTalk 09:26, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I was not able to put an edit summary over the past days due to my tight schedule, thus, I need to do these edits faster but careful. Also, I thought that station layouts for me are important but was already instructed as per Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Trains/Archive:_2019#RfC_about_station_layouts_and_exits to be removed. However, some Wikipedia station articles of Manila MRT Line 3 stations, LRT Line 2 stations, and LRT Line 1 stations have station layouts. However, I didn't know that station layouts should not be brought back anymore because I did not access various WikiProject talk pages like this one (Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Trains) over the past 12 months. If I was mistaken in what I edited, I apologize. Thank you for the advice, User:Hiwilms. LMP 2001 Talk 09:40, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You might find this useful

[edit]

Hi! I sent a FOI request to the LRTA for information on the status of the LRT-2 fleet for research purposes a while back, and they sent the line's operations report for November 2021 in the response. Since you seem to be into that aspect of the MRT/LRT articles, I think you might be interested in some of the data that's publicly available there.

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from MRT Line 3 (Metro Manila) into MRT Line 7. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 13:59, 10 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Left-aligning text for the LRT/MRT station connections

[edit]

Hi! I recently did a change to the Route table for the LRT and MRT articles where I made the connections/transfers columns left-aligned, similar to the practices on Singapore's MRT pages. I also added a divider to easily differentiate connections of a different mode of transport so that it would be easier to tell apart transfers for buses, ferries, and railways.

That being said, would you prefer to retain the old way where the column is center-aligned, and without the dividers? Or would you be alright with these? Or, could it be less confusing to left-align all the Route table columns instead just like the Singapore MRT practices? Thank you! Ganmatthew (talk) 10:22, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I would prefer your suggestion to left-align the transfers/connections columns, but will still retain the new icons I added. Your suggestion makes the transfers less confusing to differentiate connections of different modes of transport, even though I added the new icons. Thank you! LMP 2001 (talk) 11:26, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, thanks too! Ganmatthew (talk) 00:55, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Concept for stations lists with collapsible transfers

[edit]

Hi, I made a concept of the LRT/MRT stations list where the list of transfers are collapsible and categorized by the owner/the type of the service. This is to make the list of transfers less cluttered, especially with stations that have a lot of transfers.

As an active editor of the LRT/MRT articles, I would like some feedback on the concept so far before I consider rolling it out to the actual articles. Thanks! Ganmatthew (talk) 05:56, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! The collapsible categories concept is good, you may roll this out to the LRT/MRT articles. Thanks! LMP 2001 (talk) 06:29, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Kamuning Church moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Kamuning Church, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 10:41, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

June 2023

[edit]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Barotac Nuevo Church. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. signed, Rosguill talk 23:02, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Concern regarding Draft:Kamuning Church

[edit]

Information icon Hello, LMP 2001. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Kamuning Church, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Drafts that have not been edited for six months may be deleted, so if you wish to retain the page, please edit it again or request that it be moved to your userspace.

If the page has already been deleted, you can request it be undeleted so you can continue working on it.

Missing Catholic cathedral articles

[edit]

Hello. I noticed you have been actively editing Catholic-related articles. I have requested missing cathedral articles in WikiProject:Philippines. Those cathedral articles are missing in List of Catholic dioceses in the Philippines. Perhaps you might want to help create some of them since you are knowledgeable in church architecture as well as relevant sources? Thanks. Sanglahi86 (talk) 04:50, 16 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I can help in making these, because cathedrals play a major role as the seat of each diocese. Thanks! LMP 2001 (talk) 05:12, 16 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Replacing photos with lower quality photos

[edit]

Please do not replace photos with your own photos with lower quality (lesser resolution, out-of-focus, etc). While newer photos are preferred, especially for biographical subjects, photo quality is just as important. OhNoitsJamie Talk 12:44, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
