Feedback on initial edits
[edit]Hi @LIUCbenedetta10Well done for starting to edit Wikipedia. Some points to help and learn from:
- There were fundamental issues with the referencing on Rapallo, and all your poor edits have been reverted by another user. Issues included:
- references go AFTER the facts they source, not in front of them
- you do not link out from your text to external websites, although you can use these as numbered references using the Cite>website template
- Peace and Sport: remove the duplicate links you've added for France. This is over-linking. You link out only once, when the linked text is first used. Your overlinking on Sofia Goggia has already been reverted. See: Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking
Hope this helps. Limelightangel (talk) 15:01, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
Mirrors
[edit] Thanks for contributing to the article Rapallo. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you.
