  • Please tell me, real quick, what all is going on in that draft--why there are so many different accounts doing the same thing. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 18:22, 29 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • Good morning Drmies, I'm really sorry about the problem that's arisen. Let me explain now: our draft page is the result of a university project we are carrying out with Professor Limelightangel. Currently the users working on this page are: Naples00, LIUCGroup5SF, LIUCGroup5SZ, LIUCGroup5IL, Lalabri, Niklas Schwartz. We are sorry for the similar names, our intention was to facilitate communication between us.

We decided to develop the topic: "Villa Toeplitz" because it is a historic villa with free entry and our intention was certainly not to promote it. We are very sorry if it turned out to be the opposite. We will try to make changes in order to better conform with Wikipedia standards. Kind regards, LIUCGroup5SF (talk) 09:10, 1 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

      • OK, that clears up a lot; I've already gotten in touch with Limelightangel. I hope you all are able to walk the fine line between writing something up and praising it to the point of promotion. The villa certainly seems notable, though I think some of y'all's classmates chose less notable projects. As for the usernames, that's clear now. If the professor goes through the education group, there are all kinds of things, big and small, that can be done for you, things that will also help other editors collaborate with you. In the meantime, good luck, and let me know if I can help. Oh, y'all should consider nominating this for the front page (see WP:DYK); some of my students have had their articles read by thousands of people all over the world. ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 03:02, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
